Please don’t go to this salon for heat styling if you have natural hair!!! it’s like they snuck relaxer in my hair when I just went for a flat iron I would of never expected that a USA salon would pull this. Five years of work gone with a single visit; visited several salons and got confirmation that a flat iron could never do this… only buy products here. The owner was very nice trying to fix the situation I commend him for that.

I went in today as a walk in to get my hair trimmed and some layers for my sister’s wedding later this week. I don’t remember the name of my stylist, but after she washed my hair I asked her to just trim my hair, add some layers, and shorten up my side bangs a bit. What she did was she didn’t touch the back section of my hair, she added layers, didn’t touch my side bangs and kept trying to part my hair in the middle when I kept telling her it wasn’t how I parted my hair, and did more than a trim. She took at least 2 inches off and now I have to go somewhere else to get the back of my hair cut evenly to the front. There’s no transition or fade to the length, it just abruptly goes down way longer in the back like she forgot to cut it. I have darker hair, so when she showed me the back in the mirror against the black cape I could see the back went down a little bit longer, but also just gave her the benefit of the doubt that it was because all of my hair was behind my shoulders so the front just looked shorter compared to the rest. I didn’t realize until I got home and saw in my own mirror with my hair not all behind my shoulders and in a lighter colored shirt. This is the first time I’ve had an issue at this salon, I typically go in every now and then just to get my hair trimmed or cut if needed/wanted and now I’m very much considering if I should continue to do so.

Great for walk-ins. Free Wi-Fi. $22 for a haircut and they do a pretty good job. Not the best haircut you’ll ever have, but very very good for quick and clean cuts.

Chrissy is great. She listens to what you want. And she really does a great job cutting my hair. Gives me all the layers I need. It’s very rare to find some one to cut curly, wavy hair, Christy IS one of those people. I am Always happy when I go to her. Once you find the right person to do your hair hold onto that person. Make an appointment to be sure you get that same person. Chrissy is that person for me. Thank you for understanding my head of hair. 🙂 see you soon.

Please do something about Carol. Amazing, wonderful woman and I’m sure she has a lot of skill but I can’t tell her anything that will get her to spend more than 3 minutes max on my hair. She speeds through my sides, misses spots, goes way too high with the fade and in the end I’m left with hair that I think I would’ve been better off just letting my hair be for the job interview/ date I was getting the cut for. This place has great employees and I’ve gotten great cuts from here but I always have to look out and make sure Carol isn’t working. Please at least start asking walk-ins if they have a preferred stylist so I can say “anyone but Carol.” I really don’t mean to be rude, but it’s one thing if you’re actually trying. I don’t know how hard Carol is trying when she cuts my hair but 3 minutes on a haircut doesn’t leave a lot of room to give her the benefit of the doubt. 3 minutes is a what a master prodigy hair barber spends on your hair, and it comes out marvelous. Carol is an elderly woman; she’s not a shear-slinging professional youngster. If I’ll give her this though; she’s the only woman since my high school years that’s been able to make me cry!
