Figured out we had lice on 12/5 I bought ALL lice products at the pharmacy, then decided to googled places to be treated. Originally I went to the lice clinic, they treated us and I purchased a protection plan for my daughter and myself. All together it was insanely expensive and they didn’t offer any follow up a simple comb at home and oil on day 5 and 10. I think can’t put a price on being bug-free in one hour, all seemed great. Then about 5 weeks later my head starts to itch again, I feel the creepy crawlers and I found more in my hair but none in my daughters. Went back to the lice clinic paid for everyone to get checked and they treated me again under the protection plan. About a week later it started again, I found more and more nits everyday. At this point I am debating “should I shave my head?” My husband suggested going somewhere else. I called buggheads, I was scheduled for later that day. Not only did Marissa treat me, check my family, schedule follow up appointments but she also dyed my hair and cut it. It looks great! I still feel gross but maybe a little less. Wish we went here first and saved ours selves a lot of money and stress! The key to her treatments is combing, Same as the lice clinic except she does it for you! I can not put into words how much relief I felt leaving her salon that night.

Marissa is truly the best!! I had realized I likely had lice and immediately started calling around different places in the area. Despite it being a holiday, Marissa quickly called me back for an immediate appointment. Upon arrival she not only treated myself and my boyfriend, she also checked my other family members. Marissa was incredibly knowledgeable about this process and so so kind. She also most importantly solved our lice issue! Happy to have the two follow up appointments, but am feeling so much better (and happier!) after our first appointment with Marissa at Buggheads. So grateful for her work and would recommend to everyone!

I’d tried treating my daughter’s head lice myself and failed. I didn’t realize that none of the medications actually work on both lice and eggs despite their claims, and upon rediscovering lice on my daughter’s head I was so frustrated and upset. I looked up lice removal and found Buggheads and called and spoke to Marissa who said we could come in that same day. I’d also spoken to another company and Marissa was much more reasonable in pricing and I liked that two follow up appointments were included. She checked us all and it turned out I too had lice. She was very nice and very reassuring throughout the whole process. We went back to her for two follow up appointments as well and we are happily lice free now. I’m very happy I found Marissa and I would highly recommend her to anyone going through this nightmare! She made it so much easier and less daunting. You are awesome, Marissa! Thank you!!

When my daughter was sent home from school with a head full of lice I immediately bought one of those kits from cvs – after applying it once while she was hunched over in our bathroom sink in our small bathroom I knew there was no way either of us would be able to do this I called a friend in tears and they reccomended Marissa from buggheads I didnt even know something like this existed ! She picked up her phone right away and told us to come immediately . She is very knowledgeable about her work and easy to talk to and made an unbeatable situation almost enjoyable! Very affordable for how much time she spends with you ! Highly recommend !

Fantastic treatment for a crappy issue. Marisa was able to see my step-daughter the same day, she added us to the end of her very long day. She also checked my entire family. The treatment was comfortable and she made the entire experience as agreeable as possible. I highly recommend the service!
