The staff at Broad Ripple tanning are so helpful. I love supporting this locally owned business! Their prices are great, the beds are clean and I’ve never had to wait to get in. Five star, plus! Tanning

I don’t typically tan so I’m not someone who wants to buy year packages or even a month package honestly. I tried to go to Sun Tan City and the lowest bed was like $30 for ONE session. The only other option was to pay for a “month” package which had to actually be a month and a half (half pro rated) plus a $20 activation fee. It was like $90+ That’s literally mind blowing when I just wanted to tan a hand full of times. I had a vacation coming up so I wanted to tan for about 10 days prior . I left and searched tanning salons nearby and thank goodness I did. I came to Broad Ripple Tans and did a week long pass in the level two beds for less than the cost of a single visit at STC plus I got great color after just a few tans. Once that was up, I switched over to the level three beds for a few days. I bought another week pass because that was the best value for what I needed and again, significantly less than what I would have paid at STC. I cannot recommend this place enough. I will never go anywhere else. Plus I’m glad I can support a small local business. Definitely give them a try, you won’t regret it. Also, they have eye wear available which is so nice for someone like me who rarely tans and never has eye wear.

I went in and asked to tan for four minutes. After 1 minute and 58 seconds the bulbs shut off and I told the women at the front desk. She told me that The bed did run the full 4 minutes and that is was just cooling down. I am certain I did not tan the full 4 minutes since I only spent 5 minutes total in the building from the time I walked in to the time I left. Super disappointing

I went in for a spray tan. I’m fair skinned and did the level 2 clear. I didn’t get any kind of color. I even exfoliated and avoided moisturizer the day of my visit. I’m very disappointed with my experience. The facilities were nice and clean but not worth paying for a tan that doesn’t show up.

The whole staff is so sweet! I burn easily and really appreciated the assistance in finding a safer, more gradual way to get a little color for my wedding. Great pricing as well!

I love Broad Ripple Tans! Been using for YEARS. Although I’ve strayed and tried a couple other places in the past I will always prefer and use BRT over them all! Staff is awesome and knows what’s best for all different levels of tanners. Also the bulbs are ALWAYS new and working to full potential so never have I felt a session was wasted.

Yesterday was my first time tanning in probably two decades, and also my first experience with Broad Ripple Tans. It just happened to be in between Points A and B, so I decided to stop in. Glad I did. Clean store, great service, and I’m really happy with the results. Not only was the pricing less than expected, but I appreciated feeling like my ignorance of tanning wasn’t taken advantage of, monetarily speaking. They recommended just a short amount of time in a stand-up tanner so I didn’t overdo it or get burnt. I was in and out lickety split, got pretty much exactly the splash of color I was hoping for, and honestly felt like I underpaid for the experience. If I want a little tanning action in the future, I won’t need to bother with googling tanning salons near me again. I know exactly where Broad Ripple Tans is located now. Great job, I recommend, and thanks!

Revised 3/25/19: After buying the “Tour of Ripoff” package a little over a year ago, I came back to get a quick tan using one of the sessions that I thought I had remaining as part of the package I bought. I had a bad feeling after the third time they asked for a bio-metric fingerprint scan. The package I bought for $25 was only good for two weeks, but I wasn’t informed of this little detail until I came back 55 weeks later. So basically, I paid $25 for 1 tan. Not cool, BRT, so I’m calling you out on this.
