Body Empathy offers Table Massage, Chair Massage, Reflexology, Ashiatsu Bar Therapy, Hot Stone Massage, Foot Steam Sauna, and, by appointment, Cupping and Reiki. Various types of table massage are offered, such as Deep Tissue, Trigger Point, Swedish, Pre-Natal, Sports, and Facial. If desired, Aromatherapy can be added to a Massage, and deep sea salt can be added to a Foot Rub. Normally, during each Table Massage, a Therapist will provide hot stone treatment with the use of two heated stones.

Asked for ashiatsu. My massage was only about 25% ashiatsu before the therapist got off the table and started using her thumbs and elbows, which was uncomfortable. I prefer ashiatsu because of the broad deep pressure. I hate sharp, swift, jabby and brutal pressure from thumbs and elbows so it was disappointing. On a several occasions I had to tell her to lighten it up on the elbow and thumb pressure but at some point I gave up because she kept giving the same pressure after going lighter for a minute.

Critical: ProfessionalismI had been here a few times over the years but today, I got foot reflexology for an hour. My husband had 1 hour body massage. Charlie did the foot reflexology but he was actually talking on his cell phone & doing the massage at the same time. I was appalled that he would do that. If I want to hear someone talking on the cell phone, I would be in a race track instead of going to a massage parlor. I didn’t like the foot massage, it wasn’t like the normal foot massage I got. It seemed like Charlie had taken a short cut on this one. I had been here a few times over the years but today, I got foot reflexology for an hour. My husband had 1 hour body massage. Charlie did the foot reflexology but he was actually talking on his cell phone & doing the massage at the same time. I was appalled that he would do that. Critical: QualityPlace is not clean and use old blankets. Head rest is very painful. The put sign outside says $40 per hour for body massage but when you go inside the guy will till you it is old prices it is now $55 per hour. Massage was very painful I didn’t like it at all

If you like a deep massage, this is it. I go bi-weekly for a 90 minute treatment including having my back walked on. It can be a bit uncomfortable but no pain, no gain. Not only are their prices extremely reasonable but unlike other places that allocate time for set-up and clean-up, they work on you the entire time – and more.

So extremely painful. It was my second time getting a massage so I wasn’t well versed on how it’s supposed to feel. I thought it was supposed to hurt or that I had a bunch of knots but it hurt so bad I bit the inside of my mouth so hard it started to bleed. In the massage therapists defense, I probably should have said something to let her know it hurt but I thought that was how it was supposed to feel (i was also uncontrollably squirming so i assumed she would notice that and chill). I left feeling so tense and could not unclench my shoulders. Not a relaxing experience at all. I honestly probably need a follow up massage from another place to reverse the stress from this one.
