Stopped in here on a whim over a year ago because they were the only shop open when I needed a last-minute cut for an event. Now I’m not typically the type of person to go to a random barbershop and let anyone cut my hair, but I decided to bite the bullet due to the circumstances and I’m damned glad I did, as this quickly became my primary shop. It’s rare that you find a shop that not only offers affordable services, but that puts the amount of detail and care into your cut that these guys do. Every barber in this shop is meticulous in their craft and I have yet to get a bad cut from any of them. They take the time to assess your needs and ensure that you leave satisfied with their work. The shop itself is also spacious and always clean, and the environment is very welcoming and chill. Easily one of the best shops in Hartford.

I have been going to see Jomo since I saw an ad. on Facebook a little over a year ago. I decided to cut my short and was extremely nervous because it was such a bold decision. Jomo executed the cut I wanted perfectly and made me feel confident so I’ve been rocking the short hair since. I trust his skill and I just sit in his chair and let him do whatever design Not only is he a talented artist but all around great guy. Ladies, if you are thinking about doing the big chop, do it but go see Jomo; you won’t be disappointed.
