I booked a last minute appt. I’m from out of town and wanted a great blowout so I researched salons in the area I’m staying in and found Blo Blow Dry Bar. Leah is the hairstylist that took care of me. She did a fabulous job with my blowout and the beach waves I asked for. My hair is super fine and hard to get volume in it but Leah achieved the look I wanted. Leah was so kind and did a great job. Also owner Afsheen Ali was so kind and so was her other hairstylist Kat. I had a great experience and would return whenever I come back to Birmingham.

This is the most inflexible business I have ever dealt with. I always keep my appointments to the best of my ability; however, today I had an emergency and called to ask if I could reschedule. They actually WILL NOT let you reschedule. They cannot “reschedule or cancel without full charge.” What business is like this?? It’s a fifty dollar blowout! I understand a partial or even full charge for a COMPLETE no show, but I was trying to reschedule due to an emergency! Don’t waste your money on a business that can’t be empathetic to its own customers. I’ve been here many times without ever canceling or rescheduling. I’ll never be back.
