Critical: Professionalism, PunctualityMy friend and I had appointments. We showed up half an hour before our appointments and weren’t seated until 30-40 after our original appointment time. Now we were going to be late to our party even though we made these appointments days in advance…but no problem! Once we get in the chairs, it’s pretty clear the nail technicians are in a bad mood from being backed up. I can understand that. What is not ok is that bad mood being taken out on my friend and I. It’s really uncomfortable when you are PAYING for a service and someone is acting like they don’t want you there…AND then you have to tip them!My technician was too rough and was filing too hard. My friend and I had appointments. We showed up half an hour before our appointments and weren’t seated until 30-40 after our original appointment time. Now we were going to be late to our party even though we made these appointments days in advance…but no problem! I made an appointment 3 weeks in advance for my acrylic nail fill. I’ve been calling all week and no one picked up the phone, so I just showed up at 10 am like my appointment time. Remember I made my appointment before I left last time. I showed up this morning and they were closed. They had a sign saying they weren’t open again until the 19th, and never once told me my appointment was cancelled. They could have at least given me a heads up! THIS HAS HAPPENED TO MANY OF MY FRIENDS ALSO. I do not recommend coming here because they switch up and leave town without telling all of there appointments. GO SOMEWHERE ELSE.

This nail salon has the potential to be great but the customer service of some of the nail technicians is horrible. The technician definitely need training on how to interact with customers! Some of them lack training in their skills and needs to revisit cosmetology schooling. Joe is one of the better workers there and if he would teach his skills to his fellow coworkers the place may become better. I got gel polish today and the polish was not applied right so its not smooth, there is to many layers and it will lift shortly. The tech also did not clean up my nails to there was polish around my fingers. They look very sloppy! I know it is impossible to know how to do everything but if you are doing nails and you can’t apply polish then you need to revisit the learning part of your skills. I am going back there tomorrow because I did not pay my money for this! I am a very unsatisfied customer!

They were focused on their work and when I left, the owner wished me a happy vacation. This was my first time here and I think they did a great job. I got the powder French manicure and a pedicure. The atmosphere was relaxing and clean. The owner was kind to me as we discussed what was the best option for my manicure. I’m very happy with the powder technique. It isn’t as thick as acrylics which I prefer. Bliss is the only salon I use !!! I have been a faithful customer to joe for almost 4 years ! He never disappoints . He has amazing business he’s always so polite and funny always makes sure his customers are well taken care of and has always fixed an issue when it is brought to him !!!! This was my first time having gel nails done. I’ve been getting them here for about 6 months with fills once a month/5 weeks. I thought it was normal to be in horrible pain every fill. The nail tech filed my nails down to the point they would bleed and burn. I finally got them removed because my nails were hurting so bad I didn’t think they could take another set. I ended up with an infection in one nail, skin and nail plates are exposed and my fingers are covered in bandaids because they keep ripping and bleeding. This has been terrible. I spoke to another nail technician and she said this was not normal and was the result of someone over filing nails. Not happy and never going back. Wish I had known better.

Joe the owner is awesome and did a wonderful manicure for me, but I had an issue with the woman who did my daughters, she misunderstood what color my daughter wanted and when I corrected her she had a fit! She changed the color but you could tell she wasn’t happy about it! Very unprofessional Manicure
