Critical: QualityI got some box braids done and it took forever to get done and they were extremely tight. My scalp was so irritated and sore. I tried to wait it out for a few days to see if they would loosen. I used braid spray and leave in conditioner. But the pain was so unbearable. I had to take them out after the second day. The hair that was used did not come out of a package. I’m guessing it was synthetic hair. It itched constantly on top of the pain. They have a no refunds policy. So you have to take a loss if it’s not done right. I’ve gotten braids many of times and never experienced this. Just horrible. I got some box braids done and it took forever to get done and they were extremely tight. My scalp was so irritated and sore. I tried to wait it out for a few days to see if they would loosen. I will never come back to this shop!! It was 2 people on my head, and the braids were different sizes, and it showed very well so they had to take half of the braid down to redo them !! Untop of the fact the dark skinned lady was pulling my hair extremely tight, especially after I told her to ease up a little bit, it seem like it got tighter! When I first started getting my hair done, one of the ladies talked on the phone for literally 6 hours, it was just me in the shop at the time ( I just fell asleep, because it’s not like I could watch TV) They didn’t clean my braids up good!! Hair is showing through my braids and that usually don’t happen when I get my hair done by Africans!!! If I didn’t needed my hair done, I would’ve just got up and left the shop with a half up head done!! Poor service!! And I know they was talking about me, when I started pointing out what I didn’t like about the braids!! My hair is parted funny!! I asked them to put my braids close together at the first but because of how it’s parted the braids spaces out a little. When they finished I hurried up and got our that shop!! Never coming back ♀️ ♀️

This place is a great for dreadlock maintenance. The thing I really like about this place is the hours. I walked in on Saturday around 7 pm. Mimi took care of me. She did a really good job with my re twist. She took care of my roots. She re twisted my hair just right. Most people twist to tight. The products she used are very light weight and smell amazing. My favorite part is getting shampooed. I highly recommend this place for dreadlocks styles. Mimi is very knowledgeable about dreadlocks. Words can’t explain how good she is. She is always available. I won’t go anywhere else. I recently combined my locs and Mimi has my locs locking very nicely. I would recommend coming here at least once.

They did a fantastic job! I love my bob cornrows! They where very honest with me about which braids I should get. By my hair being short they told me which braids will be best for me and last longer, which was the box braids. They are very caring and lovely people!

I hate this shop. They are rude and dont follow through with what they say. I called to get an appointment to have my natural hair braided, no extenstions. I have done this here before. The lady told me to be at the shop by 9:30am. When I get to the shop she tells me she does not want to do my hair unless I do extensions because it cost more. When I said thats not what I was told and I had gotten it done before she told me she was not going to do it. So I asked her why did she make an appointment, she ignored me didnt respond. Never again. I will learn to braid my own hair before I give another one of these shops my money.

Why did I even attempt to return here. There was a young lady maybe in her mid 30s rude as heck! She was pulling my daughter’s hair so bad to detangle it my daughter started crying and when I saw the hair that she ripped out of her head I told her forget it! I refuse to let my daughter sit through that torture. Btw I had already detangled her hair before we got there and even plaitted it up so it would revert back, so there was no need to pull her hair the way she was pulling. I can’t even imagine hair she would have braided. My daughter’s dad wanted to slap the lady when her saw that hair on the floor. I had to literally calm him down from being so angry eventhough I was angry myself. And they tell you one price pin the phone then tell you no that’s for a basic style… lady I told you the style over the phone, how did it change now! Keep your $ folks or spend it somewhere else!
