Super down to earth, easy to talk to and did absolutely incredible work. My tattoo is perfectly crisp and sharp and came out even better than I’d hoped. The shop itself is clean and has a fantastic environment. From beginning to end everyone I dealt with on the phone or in person was friendly and accommodating. I just got my 6th tattoo but first at Black Hatchet and I can honestly say I won’t ever be going anywhere else. Jess was awesome. Super down to earth, easy to talk to and did absolutely incredible work. My tattoo is perfectly crisp and sharp and came out even better than I’d hoped. I got a tattoo with Maria September 2021. It was a fair price and initially I was pretty pleased with the tattoo. I came back in January to get it touched up. I followed the aftercare instructions religiously, but unfortunately, this time I ended up with dozens of ingrown hairs over the tattoo (has not happened to me before). I emailed the shop a few pictures and was told not to touch it and not to worry. I was extremely careful not to pick at or touch the tattoo but I ended up getting a pretty severe case of cellulitis and was unable to stand on my leg for several days.

Went to Ricky to get my upper arm done and had an amazing experience! Not only did I leave with an amazing piece of art on my arm but Ricky and his staff were awesome. During my tattoo I was able to watch a great choice of movies and felt very at ease and comfortable (besides the feeling of being stabbed for 4+hours) Definitely looking forward to booking my next appointment and being stabbed again.
