One of the worst haircuts I’ve ever received at this pricepoint. After having the same short and clean haircut for many years, I had been growing my hair out for the last 6 months. I went to Bishops today to get a trim and style the hair into a curtain bang / middle party style that I’ve been striving for. I called ahead of time asking who the best stylist would be and the person on the phone mentioned Lily. I even prepared a bunch of pictures to show what I wanted.

I was one of the foolish people who took a pair of clippers to my hair during the pandemic. When it started growing out awkwardly I went to bishops for the first time and got Lily. She was patient and helped me decide on a color and style that I loved. We landed on a lavender pixie cut that gets complimented constantly. I’ve been back a few times now and always feel great when I leave.

Got my hair dyed with Jessika and it did not come out well. I read a lot of reviews about this place and I had very high hopes. My hair was a light pink fading and she just bleached my roots and put something on top of it (she said it was orange toner?) even though i had believed i would be getting permanent ginger dye on my hair. My hair faded 2 showers later to a horrible ombré-like color.

Not happy with my haircut. Half of the things I tried to explain were addressed with ‘yes’ but not implemented in the way I wanted. It was a simple haircut but I think my hairdresser was a novice. Not fair they assigned me to her. I dont think they should charge the same price as others. I would have given one star but then another hairdresser tried to fix my hair and Im appreciative of that. However, you cant fix badly cut hair that easily.

Friendly staff, good service and good hairdressers. A bit pricy but the service makes it worth it. At first the cut I asked for the free hair dresser said she is not good for the style and asked if I was ok waiting for the other hair dresser. I appreciate the honesty and my hair turned out great.

Amber was my stylist and she did a good job. However, the AC wasn’t working and that was terrible for a hot day. Additionally, 20 min of wait after booking an appointment seems unreasonable, hopefully it will be better next time.

I was dissatisfied with the service. The stylist assigned to me was talking to the other staff pretty much the whole time and looked distracted when cutting my hair. She even briefly stopped cutting my hair and went over to her friends to look at some random pictures on one of their phones. I found this to be very unprofessional. It felt like my time wasn’t being valued. Will not be going back again.

I have thick hair and I have only recently started cutting my hair short (up to my collar bone). I have never found a good stylist that was affordable in this area and therefore I rarely cut my hair and I have lived in Pleasanton for over 20 years. She did an excellent job.
