I had a 0900 appointment and was sat immediately. My pedicure was scheduled for 45 minutes but it took over an hour which is totally fine, I was not in any rush. The staff was extremely friendly and the place was gorgeous and well decorated.

i have always been one to hop from nail salon to nail salon. but once i found Belles….never again!!! i LOVE this place so much! the owner is the absolute BEST!! he let me jam out to some Backstreet Boys one day while i was there! it feels like a family get together every time i am there! the techs are so nice. im usually not one for small talk but they dont make it awkward at all. the last time i went they were playing Mary Poppins! i mean come on!! THE BEST!!! all the stars! i could go on for days about them!

This nail salon was able to fit me in short notice and Kaylie did a great job in my nails. Reasonable prices for a traditional mani/pedi. My friend booked for us (me and another friend) two mani and 3 pedis and we got there to realize that they booked me under the wrong mani so I couldn’t get mine done because the time isn’t enough (the whole thing was for my vow renewal) and then they proceeded to force us to do our pedi’s 15 min earlier because they had walk-in appointment they wanted to squeeze in, the pedi was the worst i have ever gotten in my entire life, the lady was very FAST and rushing I couldn’t enjoy any and ended up stoping her and leaving midway.

I’ll start off by saying that this is probably the nicest salon in the immediate area. I wanted to check it out because of the good reviews and I typically make a trip to Starkville from Columbus to go grocery shopping on Saturday’s. I walked in and the receptionist was quick to check me in for my appointment for both a pedicure and manicure at 1pm. He was very personable and welcoming. I was told I’d start off with a pedicure and I headed over to the chair he said I’d be in. He then said I would actually get my manicure first so I sat at the station I was directed to. After about 15 minutes, I was then told I’d actually be getting my pedicure first and he took me to another station. He set up my area and then I waited for another 20 minutes at least before I was finally seen. I had a great pedicure and the woman did a nice job. After she was done, I was told to go to her station to get the top coat of my dip nails removed. Waited there for another 10 minutes and she came and took my top coat off. I then was moved to another station to have my nails soaked. I was there for at least 40 minutes soaking my nails in acetone. The fumes were starting to get to me and finally, I believe the owner, came up to me to ask how I was doing. I said the fumes were getting intense and he quickly remedied the situation. He was very kind and apologetic. They called over another woman to do my manicure. It was evident she was already booked to do something else so it felt very rushed, which at the time I wasn’t too upset about because I’d been there for so long. She was nice and did a decent job. She buffered off the residue on my nails and while I still had shavings on my hands then proceeded to do my regular nail polish. Unfortunately because of this, I had specks in my polish and it didn’t look great. I still tipped the women well and honestly I don’t fault them. I think the true issue is the appointment system. It was very evident that people were being overbooked and the women couldn’t keep up with the amount of people they were scheduled to see. Two of the women were discussing how they wouldn’t have time to do their next scheduled appointments and were trying to figure that out as I walked over to have my nails dry. Overall, it was a decent place but I won’t be back because of the long wait times despite me making an appointment. I arrived at 12:55 for my 1pm appointment and didn’t leave until 3:40pm when my pedicure and manicure really only took 40 minutes total. I should have been in and out of there in an hour, but because of poor management of the schedule I was there far longer. If they get their disorganization figured out, I’d say it’d be a nice place to go to, but it’s not worth a return for me.

The space is clean, bright, beautiful and open. The owners are friendly and also professional, just lovely people. I was offered complimentary wine from a great selection of wines, and they were busy but still managed to keep an eye on everyone and anticipate their needs as well as mine. This is truly customer service at a level I have VERY RARELY experienced. My nail specialist, Caitlin, was absolutely lovely and did a fantastic job! The whole thing was an experience that had not ONE moment of anything other than comfort, welcome, and relaxation with a pedicure that was perfect. I recently visited this nail salon for the first time, I was AMAZED by all aspects of this business. The space is clean, bright, beautiful and open. The owners are friendly and also professional, just lovely people. I was offered complimentary wine from a great selection of wines, and they were busy but still managed to keep an eye on everyone and anticipate their needs as well as mine.
