I have been here before with no problem. I made an appointment yesterday, made an effort to come today and was asked to come back in 2 hours-no problem.. they’re busy I have time. Went all the way to Forest Hills. I come back 2 hours later as agreed,park and am told he can’t do my hair????? I ordered Uber eats after he seated me so now I have to wait outside for my dinner. Then I wanted to talk to the stylists wife who booked the appointment. He asked her to come out of the room so I chimed in, yes come out to which he said Get out of my salon???!!!

I almost never write online reviews but I thought it would only be right to warn others. They charged me $100 for ONLY removing extensions. My usual salon does it for free. Unless you want to pay insultingly high prices for average service, find somewhere else to get your hair done. There’s plenty of other nearby quality options at fair prices!

I have been to a few salons in long Island and Queens but this one top them all. Staff is friendly, knowledgeable and very attentive. I came in after the fiasco from the last salon I went too on Saturday 2/8/20. I showed Joe the photo of the color I wanted and he told me exactly what he was going to do and how long it would take. I was there for 3 hours but we’ll worth it. He darkened my hair and added some caramel highlights. I was very impressed with Joe’s attention to details. The hair color is exactly what I asked for. He provided some useful tips on how to care for my hair moving forward as it’s taken a beating from the prior salons bleaching. I couldn’t be happier and I completely recommend this salon. Joe, Mary and Ana are truly an amazing crew.

I took a chance with Joe and I’m so so glad that I did. He gave me exactly what I wanted. He took his time which I really appreciate. During the consult and application, he didn’t BS me on anything and told me everything that was possible and that wasn’t. He didn’t try to upsell me on anything and kept it real. His wife is at the front desk and she’s a true doll together they’re even more amazing. What a great team. Prices aren’t high but aren’t low either. You get what you pay for and Joes work is def worth the price. He’s not some overly reviewed guy on social media, which I actually like because he’s able to give you his full attention without a million other customers bombarding him. Amazing first time experience. The second I walked in I was greeted by the world’s friendliest receptionist Amanda. It turns out she’s a hair stylist as well. Best of both world’s! Not only did she do my hair but she also offered a free makeup trial too. I’m definitely coming here again, again and again!
