I’ve been going to the same barbershop in Hillsboro since 1979 when I was just 4 years old. As much as I love my barber, i moved to St. Helens 4 years ago because I don’t love Hillsboro anymore. I made special trips out there for the first few years, but now that my barber’s getting older and has some health issues, he doesn’t work much anymore. About a year ago, I decided to try some local shops with the hope that I might find my next 40-year barber. And during my 4th haircut a few months ago, I walked into Barber Brian’s and hit paydirt. I’ll be back this afternoon, and this time I’m bringing my 4 year old son!

Classic Barber. If you are looking to ger your hair “styled” or something that a Beauty Salon will charge you 50 bucks and additional 100 for the blue color…. not your place. . If you want an old fashon traditional barber that can cut any style of hair on your head, come here. This a great place that I exclusively use. Lifetime customer.

I think Brian and his shop is unique and the best I’ve ever experienced. New to the area and checked around. The reviews were right. A real barber with 40 years experience. Quick. He knows what he’s doing. His advice is sound. Conversation is enjoyable. His price more than reasonable. Really, there’s nothing better around. I’m a customer from now on.

Apparently discrimination is still a thing in 2022. I would rate it a zero if possible. Tried to just get the hair around my ears trimmed so as not to get caught in my hearing aids. Refused service because “I’m a woman” even though there is no where posted stating this. I would not have gone in if it were posted and saved myself the embarassment.. Regardless that I have had a mens cut for years and regardless of how I identify. How disturbing that in 2022 you can’t get a haircut because of someone judging you.
