Ashton Health, PLLC provides a new paradigm in orthopedic care. As a licensed medical massage practitioner, Stephanie Ashton combines manual therapy modalities from physical therapy with her massage work. Stephanie specializes in medical massage and sports massage along with many other massage therapies including soft tissue work, deep tissue work, cupping therapy, joint mobilization, trigger point release, TMJ treatment, cranial sacral therapy, muscle energy technique, sacroiliac joint treatment, and rock taping (kinesiology tape). By combining the best of physical therapy and massage therapy, and applying over 14 years of training by mentors, classes, and experience, Stephanie’s patients realize better, longer-lasting results.

Stephanie is a true gem! She was so kind to offer me a virtual telehealth visit after suffering months of inflammation and plantar fasciitis pain in both feet. She was able to refer me to a podiatrist whom she trusts for steroid injections. Along with the podiatrist, she provided stretching exercises that I could do at home. She is extremely knowledgeable in her field and goes the extra mile to help her patients.

I, unfortunately, haven’t seen Stephanie and Ashton medical since before the pandemic hit. I have always been an infrequent client due to location. If I was closer, I would go SO MUCH MORE. I found Stephanie practicing Physical Therapy at a clinic I was attending. Her hands-on therapy was “spot on.” Pun intended. Some PT’s just slap some ice and a tens unit on you and call it a day. Stephanie always took her time with manipulative therapy. When another PT told me she was also a massage therapist, I asked her for her info. Due to a conflict of interest, she wasn’t able to tell me. Luckily, I flagged her down at a Target one day and made her give me her info as I was no longer a client or attending PT. I thank the lawd she did. She is freakin amazing. I wish I could see her weekly. Unfortunately for me, she’s about 45 minutes to an hour away from me. Even farther from my work. With kids and a job, it makes it tough to get to her but man do I need to try to more often. Stephanie and Ashton Health are hands down the best.
