The ambiance and mood at Art of Hair on First is very much calming and reassuring. The stylists have an amazing rapport with each other and they keep it lighthearted. The salon is clean, bright and inviting and I don’t see myself looking for another salon anytime soon to cut my hair. I’ve recommended Art of Hair on First to friends for wedding updos and special occasion photo sessions and they’ve all been impressed with their professionalism and attention to the smallest detail. HIGHLY recommend!!

Kate has been highlighting and cutting my hair every 8 weeks for a year now. She genuinely cares about the health of my hair as much as I do and always delivers the look I was going for with the least amount of processing possible. Her rates are very reasonable. She is a great conversationalist, fun, reliable and the space is bright and clean. I highly recommend her, but only if you enjoy receiving compliments on how beautiful and healthy your hair is everywhere you go! 🙂

I’m new to Duluth and was in need of a trim after letting my hair grow out for quite some time. I chose the Art of Hair on first for their good reviews, and they did not disappoint. Serena did an excellent job assessing how much needed to come off my ends and gave me a super even cut. She and the other ladies working there were very friendly and made me feel comfortable. I also love all the beautiful succulents growing near the front window! I will definitely return the next time I’m in need of a salon!

My daughter came to Dannae for a Hilex cut to bring her curls out. Wow did they! She only used one product that makes her hair so soft now. No more knotted up tangles and she can run her fingers right through the beautiful curls now! We are so pleased with this cut! Thank you! Haircut

My God these girls are good! Never have I ever looked better and it couldn’t have happened at a more perfect time… The day of my wedding!
