This is one of the best salons I have had the pleasure of getting my hair done at. The entire staff were extremely kind and I genuinely believe they all love their jobs because it felt like a family. The stylist Kevin was very attentive and very informative when it came to certain services and what would be the best and healthy options to coloring and cutting my hair. I moved to NOVA back in 2019 and was in the market for a new hairstylist and I got lucky when my mother in law recommended Jackie! With my curly hair I am SUPER picky about who cuts and colors it but Jackie has been amazing and I’ve been with her ever since. She listens to what I want and gives me the best course of action for how to not completely fry my hair (god bless) and overtime even got my hair from box dyed black to a pretty burgundy color! I truly can’t see myself going to anyone else. So if you have curly hair and are worried about who can handle it don’t worry Jackie can. 10/10 recommend her!

I came to this salon to fix a botched haircut that left me in tears. After doing some research and reading the reviews I decided to come here and go with Jackie. I’m so happy I did because Jackie is literally amazing and saved my hair. She cut it exactly how I wanted and I left out feeling absolutely beautiful. I’ve gotten my hair cut twice by her and I will definitely continue going to her. Can’t recommend her enough.

I’ve taken both of my daughters to Mariah and have been so happy both times! They stylists that consulted with her were very upfront about expectations for my girls, and they both turned out great. Super nice service from both the front desk and stylists. Very reasonably priced and easy tipping procedures through Venmo which is so appreciated. Preteen girls can be very hard to please but we had two really happy kids and will definitely be back. Just to add I loved that other stylists were willing to contribute and help out, asking questions to make sure everyone was happy.

Being new to the DMV area I was in need of a solid salon where I knew I would receive quality care. Somebody recommended Aquilano to me and I haven’t looked back! Jackie has saved my hair after I dyed it blonde (naturally brunette) a few years back and makes me feel super comfortable at every boss it. If you need any balayage done, she’s the one to see!
