Critical: Professionalism, Punctuality, Quality, ValueI went to Makenzie Fakuda, and this was an experience that nobody ever wishes when going to get their hair done. I wanted a FULL blonde balayage, because my hair is pretty dark at the root she said this would take more than one session. I agreed, I understand that. However, she failed to touch my roots at all. She did NOT do anything to them. She colored the bottom half of my hair only, and it was an orangey warm blonde. I prefer a cool ashy tone, and even mentioned that when she asked me. The first time I booked my appointment with her she wanted to reschedule last minute, and I was not able to do that as we have scheduled this a month out. The service was also pretty expensive for what I received. My hair looked very similar when she finished to how it was before; the blonde was just more noticeable. She did trim my hair so that was good. I did tip her overall, because I gave her the benefit of the doubt. I thought okay maybe it’s the lighting in this studio, when I got home it didn’t make anything better. Everyone was confused, as my hair looked the same.. I told Makenzie I was not happy, and she agreed to fix it however the day of the appointment she cancelled because her chair broke. She is pretty unprofessional, unreliable and inconsiderate. I felt ripped off, and asked for a refund, she refused. I found someone else the next day, the hair stylist was also confused why Makenzie failed to bring the color up.. This was a bad experience overall and wasted my time and money.
