We just visited Alpine Spa to celebrate my husband’s birthday. We both got a massage and a facial. All the the services were amazing, we couldn’t have felt any more relaxed when we were done. The staff were all very kind and professional. We are back in the area in 2 weeks and I even booked another appointment. I would definitely recommend a visit.

If I am rating the booking process and management, I would give the Alpine Spa one star. If I am rating the services I received from Christian, I’d be leaving 5 stars. I originally booked services for myself, and two family members. It was incredibly confusing because I kept referring to the packages (The Winter Wonderland and The Great Blue Heron) and the gal on the phone kept referring to the actual services which did not seem to match the website description of the packages. It was like she didn’t know what was included in the package. Due to horrible travel conditions, my family members could not make it to Leavenworth. I called one week in advance to cancel their services. Again, the gal on the phone made it extremely complicated. I was very clear but had to explain myself several times. When I got off the phone, my husband made a comment questioning why that was so difficult. When I arrived, the girl at the front desk could not find my appointment. I explained what had happened with my family not making it and me being VERY clear on the phone I was not cancelling mine. She went in the back twice to speak with who I know now to be Donna Bartleson, the spa manager. After the back and forth, Donna comes out and says firmly, “It’s fine.” It’s fine? Your staff made a mistake and you are acting like it’s my fault? No apology. No explanation of what was to happen next. I waited in the lobby for far too long watching 3 others move into their services. Finally, I asked a therapist what was going on. She checked and let me know my first service would start at 1:45. My appointment was set for 12:30 with a steam room start. Once I got into the massage room, Christian couldn’t have done a better job. The massage and facial was perfect. She was a great communicator and gave an amazing facial and massage. She started by telling me to think about something I am thankful for. I was thankful Donna was not my manager. Thank you Christian. Donna, someone needs to brush you up on customer service skills.

Amazing experience! Everyone was so helpful and so nice right from the first call I made until I walked out the door. I called 3 months in advance to ask some questions and the woman on the phone was exceptionally helpful and walked me through how to set up a surprise visit for a friends birthday. She made great recommendations and didnt try to upsell anything. I called back a few times over the months with some changes and additional questions and they never got frustrated or lost patience with me.

Deanna has magic hands! I had a horrible stress headache and doubted that a message would make it go away but knew it wouldn’t. Well after my one hour extremely relaxing Swedish massage….no headache! The entire experience was relaxing from the moment I walked in the door to the moment I walked out. As Arnold would say “I’ll be back”!

My fiancé and I got a couples swedish massage. He asked his masseuse to go as hard as she can, and she did, using elbows and really doing a good job. I asked my masseuse three times to increase the pressure, and she told me I should get a deep tissue massage if I want more pressure. I didn’t feel anything after I left while my fiancée left feeling loose and relaxed. Not worth the money if you don’t get a good masseuse.

Deanna (LMT) was amazing and the atmosphere of the spa was excellent from the front desk to the end of the service. Even the front desk girl was really kind, professional and spa-like. 🙂 Well worth it and very affordable for the quality of service you receive.

I was pleasantly surprised when they could squeeze myself and my partner in for massages at the last minute. I received a deep tissue massage from Christian, and she was excellent. She had no problem identifying my problem areas and suggesting helpful tips for me. I work a lot of physically intensive jobs, so a quality massage goes a long way. She did a nice job checking in with me about pressure and made sure I was doing alright throughout the appointment. The spa itself is clean, peaceful, and has a nice bathroom/shower facility. The prices are on par for a spa. Definitely would recommend.

We did a couples massage, they were very flexible on booking different massages for each of us and just scheduling them together. Especially important right now as I’m pregnant. The facilities were very nice, and this may seem like a minor detail, but the pillows and sheets were extremely comfortable (especially important for a pregnancy massage!). Our therapists were both excellent. I highly recommend it. We’ll definitely be back when we’re in the area again.
