Critical: Professionalism, PunctualityBought a full day spa package through Groupon for my daughter as a Christmas gift last year. She was able to get on their schedule prior to COVID shutdown and her appointment was canceled with no explanation. A few weeks later they shutdown for COVID. The owner was nice enough to honor her package once they were up and running again. Since they’ve opened my daughter has been scheduled and cancelled 3 times stating she was feeling sick. I finally called myself for an explanation and was told to just call Groupon for a refund. That she was no longer going to provide her service. She stated they only use Groupon to get people in the door (which I’m aware companies due to promote their business) and she no longer wanted to honor her voucher. I understand many businesses are impacted by COVID but a deal is a deal. I don’t understand why she would routinely cancel with a fake excuse. I wonder how long that would have continued? She was able to get on their schedule prior to COVID shutdown and her appointment was canceled with no explanation. A few weeks later they shutdown for COVID.
