Anna helped me when i had an illness. My hair was falling out. She did a scalp massage that i truly believe helped wake up the follicles. Within weeks my hair grew back! Not to mention shes a great person and takes the time to understand what you want. I never have had a bad experience with her or the product.

I came home after 8 hrs on my feet. I was very happy that my legs and body didn’t hurt like they normally do. If your looking to get your body relax, go and see for yourself. Went here 3 times, enjoyed it everytime. Nice place. Anna is one of the nicest people I’ve met, great coversation maker. If you are looking for a place to just get a haircut this is not the place. It’s the kind of place you go to and become friends with the owner and you have a great time talking and get a haircut too. Yes she has her quirks, especially with all natural products she makes herself, but if it works it works. Most friendly place out there.

I have been a client at Allure for over 17 years, and it breaks my heart to read the two recent fraudulent reviews posted by two individuals who were trying to run a scam on Anna. They were in the shop 4 weeks ago when I was there for my monthly appointment. Anna thought she was helping a couple who were new to the area trying to get local business connections, and invited them into her studio. Anna at Allure quickly saw that they were delusional, and their 1 star reviews are their attempts at retribution. Shame on them. I have lived in this area for over 30 years, and you will not find a better hair salon’ experience in Eastern Connecticut, or for that matter, anywhere. If you are one of Allures clients, please post a review so the low ratings of the fraudulent review are diminished in the overall rating, and return Allure to the 5 star standing it deserves.
