Just horrendous service. My daughter was there at 7:30 AM. They did not start on her hair until 12:30. That’s understandable because she did not have an appointment. But, then they stopped braiding her hair and started on someone else who did not have an appointment. They over charge for the braiding. For shoulder length knotless braids, they charged 200.00. She did not leave the shop until 6 pm. That’s longer than an 8 hour shift. Needless to say, that’s the last time we will use their service.

The lady was super fast and gave me a fair deal. I just wanted basic braids because I wear a lot of wigs and protective styles. She only charged me $40. Other places wanted $120.

The ladies at this location are VERY professional. I booked through Styleseat but they only accept cash. I made a trip to the ATM which was no problem. There’s a bank 3 minutes away. They did smedium knotless braids for me and it only took 4hrs. Also they don’t pull on your hair. It didn’t hurt me at all. I am VERY tender headed. I will be going to them monthly!

First of I had to argue with the owner about how I wanted telling me I should show her pictures of humans but if ur a stylist you should be able to mimic other styles. I only had my hair up one week n it looked like they have been up for months my parts were crooked and she burned my hair with a lighter the ends of course but she to the top of my head then when I texted to tell her about it and how disappointed I was she never responded. To me she is only about the money she doesn’t care about your hair I WILL NEVER GO HERE AGAIN ‼️‼️

I haven’t gone to this place for over 20 years I’ve been getting my hair here and my daughter for a long long time this is the best place here in Birmingham they’re very respectful they take care of you when something is wrong they offer you drinks and it is very safe place conversations are very nice in the interact with you to make sure you’re okay I love this beauty shop it’s more of a family affair in there and I love everybody that works there
