I made an appointment to get my braids done and also I brought my own hair because I’m picky about the hair that I use. The lady immediately started talking about the hair that I brought was no good. She starts to braiding my hair and heavily wasting the hair as she is braiding she is tossing a lot of it in the floor. And not to mention pulling my hair as she was braiding. i am not a tender headed person at all but the way she was pulling was ridiculous. I told her nicely that it hurts she just kept repeating sorry every time she pulled. I will not be back to this place, the braider was so rude. The older lady there was really nice, she was the one that started braiding my hair but she did have to stop to do something else which is how I ended up in the younger girls chair which was a big mistake.

So I went to African Millennium braids after work and let me say this!! Those women are very hard hardworking! I called last minute and she said just come on in so I knew I was going to be waiting awhile so no complaints I waited about 3 hours to get my hair done and it took them about 3.5 hours to complete it which is not bad at all! They were steadily working no one was just goofing off that’s why I stayed! I asked for small lower back knotless box braids and that what they gave! They were gentle And didn’t say nothing about the thickness or the length of my hair she just told me that she will deliver and not make it heavy! I will definitely be back!

I got knotless braids and they left so much of my hair out in the back. I called them twice to go back and get my back rebraided. They told me to come today. I get there and they ask me to come back tomorrow. I came all the way from Prattville!! These people play to many games every time!!! Box Braids

I took my daughter to get her hair braided yesterday. Her appointment was at 2:30. She was there all day until after 10:30pm. It just took to long for knotless braids. I can say they were pretty at the end. I think it you give someone an appointment time. It shouldn’t be 2 hours later when they get started on your hair.

After reading the reviews, l had mixed feelings if l should get my hair done at this place. And on the website l didn’t see any pictures of their actual work. I called and stopped by several shops before l chose this place. The lady that did my hair did a good job she gripped everything except my baby hair and sideburns. She didn’t take long breaks like some of the other reviews stated. She had a baby and the only break she took was to feed the baby and that break was about 20 mins. The shop the owner was very nice and their prices were reasonable. I wish l could upload an actual picture of my hair. I would definitely recommend this place for braids. By the way they take walk ins and will wash your hair.
