She stopped for 45 min to do another clients hair that took 45 min of my time, need to better manage scheduling. (I respect her hustle but respect my time…). Even after reading the bad reviews, I decided to give her a try due to last minute needing my hair braided and she was available.

Critical: Professionalism, QualityI asked for small to medium size cornrows she gave me this big jumbo looking ones. Yet charged me the same price. I had to take them out before 2 weeks and decided to get 4 single braids instead. My daughter suggested I go back to them being my hair wasn’t done the way I wanted it at first, so I did.Upon arriving the “owner” who messed up my hair at first wasn’t there, it was her sister so I told her what happened and told her this time around I wanted 4 single small to medium cornrows, she said ok. When she started putting my hair in sections she realized that my hair was thick and that if she added a lot of braids it would be jumbo. I told her well don’t add a lot then. She recommended six instead which I agreed. When finished and about to pay the “money hungry owner” said I had to pay more being that I did six. So I said no I was told a certain amount and furthermore I wasn’t told I would need to pay more for doing six instead of four. Plus I thought they would take in consideration that my hair wasn’t done well from the get go. I told her I don’t have anymore money I would have to take the balance another time I came. The owner then started talking to her sister in their language which the sister translated and said the owner/ her sister says she should follow me home for the balance. Note her sister doesn’t know how far or where I live, worse her sister doesn’t drive. I lived like a couple houses from where they were located, lucky for her because I don’t know how she would have reached back to the salon if I lived further. Can you believe them??!! You never did my hair good from the get go yet you charged me the same amount then had the nerve to be saying I owe you for doing 6 cornrows instead of 4 when your sister suggested doing the 6 because of the thickness of my hair, not telling me that it would cost more. Now thinking about it she might have suggested the 6 instead of 4 because they knew it costs more.They need to change the name because the previous owner Alice is no longer there. She sold it to these “money hungry unprofessionals” who doesn’t care about the customers. Iam glad I look in the mirror.i ran out that shop!!!!
