Worst braid shop EVER! I set an appointment and they were pretty good at starting my hair near the scheduled time but that is the only nice thing I can say. I get my hair braided often and have never had the issues that I encountered here.

I called in to make an appointment the day before. When I got there at 9 am, I didn’t get into the chair til 3:45. I, already having experience getting my hair braided,knew I would be there til night fall. Although, I did not expect to be there til 1 am. The braids them selves look comically long ,even though I asked for shoulder length. It feels like an unnecessarily amount of weave on my scalp. Also I expected it to be tight but I’m practically immobile.. my edges are suffering and i feel like I’m wearing a heavy helmet or wig..which is also unhealthy for my hair. Do not go . I don’t recommend.

I went here for rope twist. First off, one should know that I set an appointment. I was not seated until 45 minutes after I arrived. There were 4 women ahead of me and since braids take forever they called in a lady who looked like she had just rolled out of bed. I don’t speak French but as time went on I got the vibe that she was inexperienced. It seriously felt like she was the baby sister that they only called when it got crowded. I was told my hair would only take 6 hours… It ended up taking 11! I had to be to work the next morning at 6am and left this shop at 4:30…in the morning! A whole hour and a half to prepare for work. Two weeks later I have twist that are slipping out, some that are bigger than others, and some that are fuzzy and lop sided. I am serioulsy debating removing them. These people are not friendly, and for $200 I expected some form of customer service. I don’t have a relaxer and times become desperate for something to do with my hair, but I really wish I would have waited. As a broke college student, I dont have money to waste. STAY AWAY!

$10 a braid is ridiculous. They try to part wrong to force you to get an extra braid for more money. They also want to charge you hair store prices for hair that clients forgot in the salon. There’s a weird smell, and it looks like people live there.
