Overall, they do a good job. However, there needs to be consistency with the prices of hair styles. The price is always changing especially once they finished your hair. I have been going there for the past eight months and I switch between twist and braids which I always get bra length. The price of the different types of hair styles should be posted for everyone to see. Transparency is Key.

I personally traveled from North Carolina to try this famous Africian Braiding location. Note to self it’s located near Wawa; Walk around to see the entrance. I loved how friendly the entire staff was! Also, thanks for keeping your shop Covid-19 Compliant. Thanks, Emma and Elizabeth, for both giving me stunning thick box braids. I personally was tired of dealing with my natural hairSo I desired a change. I must add Elizabeth is pictured below, and her skin complexion is mesmerizing. Just gorgeous!! I laughed alot and had a great time, and ill always be grateful. 1. Emma only takes Cash. 2. It’s more affordable if you bring your own hair: 5 bundles is good. 3. Must keep wearing your mask the entire time you are inside the salon. 4. Please don’t book if you can’t keep your appointment. 5. If you are getting box braids like me, keep in mind it’s a 5hr install. 6. Have an image of the hairstyle you would like to have. 7. Lastly, have fun and be patient. I have tried this business from time to time in the late 10 years. My complaint is always the same. They do not listen to the client. I want back to have some of my twists touched up. They were so defensive that they could not hear me. Instead of touching up she cut my hair that had untwisted. I told her a braid was falling out. She tells me it was not. I pulled it and she pretended it did not fall off. Really?

First she will give you a good price for your braid afterwards she will tell you what she has done extra services without your permission. This business wants CASH ONLY. Emma is awesome! She has a gift for sew-ins. My hair is always full without lump or bumps. Most importantly it lays super flat so I can wear my hair in a bun (since I am in the military). She is extremely quick and I never have to wait around to be seen. If she says you have an appointment that slot is available just for you. She is very professional and has fair prices that do not change every time you book an appointment. I recommend this place to all my friends because it is as good as it gets. Lastly, before going to Emma I would leave a salon not totally satisfied. Once I got home I would make adjustments to get my hair exactly the way I want it. However, with Emma I do not have that problem it is pure perfection every time.
