I had a great experience with Advanced Aesthetics and Med Spa in Bel Air. From the time I scheduled my appointment, everyone was friendly, accommodating, and knowledgeable. I received Botox and filler for the first time, and because I’m not a big fan of needles I was a little anxious, but they walked me through and reassured me through the entire process.

The staff was absolutely amazing today!! During my initial phone call with Izzy, it was obvious she was quite knowledgeable and was also patient in answering my many questions. I was greeted by Donna when I arrived I could tell that she too was extremely knowledgeable professional and very friendly. I had heard about Advanced Aesthetics & Med Spa from a good friend, Carole who works along side Donna. They all made me feel comfortable and by the time I was ready to leave I truly felt as if I had made 3 new friends! I look forward to my next visit and to learn more about the dermatological creams and/or serums they suggest for my skin regiment. I would definitely recommend the med spa to anyone looking for all types of skincare or treatments.

It’s been 5-6 months since I went and got lip fillers here. It was my first time, and If I could go back, I would have never got them. I’m left with ugly, deep wrinkles on the top sides of my lips, and two large balls at the front of my lips. I inquired for help months ago, and they basically said there was nothing they could do except have me pay $500 for dissolver after I paid $500 for fillers. It’s been 5 months, and the two large balls are still there and I have a feeling it’s scar tissue. I’m 21, and I feel like my lips are messed up forever now which makes me sad because I had beautiful lips before, I just wanted to enhance them because they were small, not change the shape which the woman recommended (she wanted to give me a “pout” with a “dip” in the top lip) I left the appointment with hard balls and a mountain texture in my lips and I was hoping it would just dissolve over time but I’m still left with terrible, long term results. The picture doesn’t do my review justice, because when I smile I have two balls on my top lips that cover my front teeth. You can see the wrinkles here, but it’s worse than it appears. I feel so ugly every time I look into the mirror, I hate the way I look.

The very nice, clean, and friendly environment is what drew me in. But I had a bad botox experience with one nurse and even more horrendous filler experience with the other. She used a cannula and poked and dug in my face for about 1.5 hours for tear trough fillers. The work was awful but she was too prideful to admit that she did not know what she was doing. I had to come for a re-do. It still looked terrible and when I asked to have the doctor come in to correct, he had a very condescending attitude and still did not touch it. This was a painful, expensive ($500), time-consuming procedure that made me look worse than before I started. Their nice act dropped really quick when I complained about it. The customer service was bad after this point and they did not try to correct it. Here is a photo of me 3 weeks out. I now look tired, worn, with dark circles under my eyes that were not present before. AGAIN-this is not a before picture but an AFTER picture. It is terrible. I have been applying arnicare gel nightly and trying to camouflage with makeup. I will go to a Medical doctor or Nurse Practitioner next time for this type procedure. Go to Advanced aesthetics if you want simple procedures or facials.

My lip injections turned out horrible here 🙁 Hard balls where the kyssee filler was injected, very uncomfortable and they haven’t responded to me since I’ve inquired the second time to get them fixed. Dawn is amazing however, it just sucks I spent so much money to look like I got punched in the mouth.
