Blow out… on 32nd in New York City. I was a walk in and no problem, massaging shampoo with product that smelled delish. Lili is a pro, I have very curly hair and she smoothed it to perfection. They use top of the line styling products. Be sure to bring cash to save on the credit card fees. I would go back!

This is my third time coming to Soomi at Aate Beauty Salon and I’m extremely happy with her service! The first time I came I had Soomi perm my hair and it turned out great! She talked me through the process and how to care for my hair. Most recently I’ve come to Soomi to bleach my hair, and I’m so happy with how it came out. The whole salon is very nice. I made my appointments by DMing them on instagram, but you can also call. Would definitely recommend Aate Beauty Salon for anyone, but especially if you are looking for an Asian hair salon who knows Asian hair very well.

I have been coming here for the past 3 years – from hair cut, coloring (sometimes insane colors!) to magic straight perm. This place never disappoints and I always come out satisfied and happy of my look. The hair stylist Sumi is fantastic- I say this with my past 15 years of going in and out of hair salons not only in NY but also in different countries. The place is a hidden but known among Koreans in town through word of mouth.

Please go here if you are looking for a good hair cut!! I got a haircut from Mimi and she did exactly what I wanted. I brought a picture cause I suck at explaining but I honestly dont think you need one even if you cant explain that well. Mimi would get it 🙂 She knows what looks good on you based on your style, head, hair thickness, hair quality…etc. I am definitely coming back here again when my hair grows

I have been coming to Aate for many years and found them when I was working in midtown near Korea Town. Very convenient, extremely nice people and, of course, superb hair stylists and overall great experience. They are very knowledgeable with all kinds of hair and have reasonable costs for Manhattan too.
