Critical: Quality, ValueI visited this salon a week ago and had a feeling when my nail tech, Michael, did not appear to know what he was doing, this was not going to end well. First, he was trying to lift the old dip powder from my nail with an old Metro Card, gross and dangerous. When I told him that would damage the nail and to please not do that, he was annoyed, and then it took him almost an hour to file the powder down when it was unnecessary to do so. My nails were uneven, thicker in some places then others and when I showed it to him he just said, “ohhhhh”. This was after almost 2 hours at the salon for a powder dip manicure with a gel overlay. My thumb nail appeared to have air pockets underneath, and was not smoothly finished because they use a “no wipe top coat” from what I was informed. When I asked about wiping the top coat, Michael had no idea what I was talking about, someone else had to answer me. If you do nails, and don’t know what it means when a client mentions “wiping the top coat”, I question what experience one has. At that point, I just wanted to go. The next day, the first nail chipped and a week in, they are chipped and broken everywhere. They were nice enough people, but I would not recommend this place for the amount of money they charge ($55) as compared to the quality of work being performed and I’m also suspect of some of these reviews. I visited this salon a week ago and had a feeling when my nail tech, Michael, did not appear to know what he was doing, this was not going to end well. First, he was trying to lift the old dip powder from my nail with an old Metro Card, gross and dangerous. Today I got a regular manicure and pedicure and the person that helped me, Michael, was so gentle with the whole process I’m usually on my phone zoned out but this time I put my phone down, closed my eyes and almost fell asleep because so was so relaxed! from start to finish 5 star rating!

Positive: Cleanliness, Professionalism, Punctuality, Quality, ValueI am not doing nails often, But it is really what i want. They are very petient to help me.
