As professionals in the industry we have loved for several years, we wanted to make sure we were making an impact. We wondered what we could do to add to it. We both realized we had been walking through the same doors for far too long and we were both ready for new challenges and adventure. If we were to open a salon, what could we do to make it special? We truly wanted to make our new salon someplace where people could come and get high-end, luxury hair services from some of the best service providers in the city, but we also wanted to create a place where people can come and feel like family, where connections are made and where our clients have the freedom to be themselves — a place that radiates light into the world.

Joe Denny is a true hair artist! I have known him for years and he does an amazing job every time! My hair is on the finer side and I have more volume because of his cutting technique. He designs the cut to the person and really all you have to do is hit on some trouble spots and let him design the cut. I can always trust him to do an amazing cut without worries. I got my hair done by Lauren a few months ago when she was newer to Luminous. I needed a color and hair cut desperately! I have had mid-length hair for most of my life and was craving a new look. I’ve been hesitant to cut a lot off of my hair, but I went in to the salon with pretty basic ideas and Lauren took them and worked miracles! The color is amazing and the shorter hair cut was so refreshing! My hair is probably the healthiest it’s ever been. I’m still loving it as it grows back! I’ve even been opening up to other hair styles then my typical throw it up in a bun. I highly recommend Lauren! Her style and talent is incredible and she’s also a wonderful person. We had great conversation and laughs, the entire experience was wonderful. I look forward to going back to see her for all my hair needs!

I have been on the search for a great hair colorist and I am so happy I found Lauren at Luminous Hair Studio! She is super talented and has transformed my hair- covering greys, giving me highlights and balayage that makes my hair look so beautiful and makes me feel so good. I’m a busy mom and it’s hard to take time for myself but she always makes my appointments so fun and relaxing and the end result is amazing so I feel lucky to have someone I can trust to listen to what I want for my hair and can make me look my best. Lauren is amazing so if you are looking for a colorist don’t hesitate to go see her, you will be so happy you did!

Lauren helped me get the green remnants of a semi-permanent home color out of my hair and then did lowlights and a root shadow to get my the garages bleached areas looking completely natural again. She’s a miracle worker. I also got a great haircut from her and a Brazilian blowout. She’s incredible at her craft! Not too mention one of the sweetest humans I know and incredibly fun. Lauren used to do my hair in San Diego and I’m SO THRILLED she’s now in Denver!! I have very fine fragile hair and she’s one of the only people I trust to color and cut it. I don’t know what it is but she gives amazing hair cuts. My hair always feels way more full and somehow still long after she cuts it. I have not been able to get the same results from other stylists. Her color is on point as well. She’s always able to figure out what I want/what will look good even when I don’t quite know haha. Again, the only person I trust! Highly recommend!!
