I waited decades to get my first tattoo. there are so many things to consider, like size, style, color and artist. After talking with Ed Bell I gave him my ideas. His designs were better than I imagined they could be. He did half sleeves on each arm. Each one in one sitting of around 6 hours. He gave me appropriate breaks and did a phenomenal job! His shop is clean and the atmosphere positive. I could not be more satisfied! I would confidently use his services again.

My 17yo (2 weeks shy of eighteen and flying back out of state before her birthday) niece wanted to get her first tattoo and Homeward is probably the 6th place we called trying to find somewhere that would do it. We were told that they would do it and had availability when we called, so we swung by the shop to get the necessary form and make an appointment. We were greeted by Rico who was helpful and friendly. He even agreed to come in a early to accommodate us. Two days later, she was in the chair for her first tattoo! The shop is very clean and Rico was very professional but relaxed. He did great work and made sure to explain the aftercare to her. We had to split our appointment (we got matching tattoos) because he had another appointment, and he was just as great in the afternoon. Definitely check them out if you’re in the area!

We 1st came to get a tattoo March of 2021 on a vacation whim. And couldn’t be happier with those tattoos my wife got a beautiful tiger shark and I got an amazing sea turtle both of them have gotten so many compliments on including from other tattoo artists. So when we decided to come here for our vacation this year of course we booked appointments for both of us again and we are over joyed with our tattoos this year we will be back again.

i love this place, i came for an industrial piercing this morning. Jess was the person who pierced my ear. they walked me through the whole process and the piercing didn’t hurt a bit, i didn’t even feel the needle go in. she kept a good conversation and gave great advice for how to take care of it for aftercare. also gave me and my friend a lollipop afterwards 🙂 this place was great i would DEFINITELY recommend. really friendly place, i’m coming back next year for my right industrial.

I have been a happy client of Homeward Tattoo for years. On every occasion they’ve met and at times exceeded expectations. Their “customer service” is always 100% and getting to know them, you get a clear and better understanding why they will never falter on service. The business is their life, and you can tell they’ve poured a lot of hard work and soul into their work. The shop is aesthetically pleasing – hard wood paneling, accompanied by thought provoking artwork. there’s a wide array of body jewelry on display. The entire place looks and feels so clean you could eat off the floors. There’s a smooth vibe throughout Homeward. I’ve been tattooed numerous times by Ed Bell, and his work speaks for itself. You’re not going to find a better artist in the area, you may come close…. But, the man really is a master at his craft. I highly recommend Jessica as well for all of your piercing needs. Her very thorough explanations about the piercing, throughout the process and after will help you tremendously even if you think you already know everything there is to know about piercings. Do NOT pass this studio up when considering your next piece. They’ve got an extremely high rating for a reason – I can attest to it. I’m more than proud on a daily basis to boast about where I get my work done. They’ve claimed Delaware’s Best with 100% legitimacy. Always stay Homeward bound. ✌

We called at the last minute for two tattoos and Rico accommodated us. He was courteous, friendly and made us feel welcome. We’re planning on booking with him again for additional tattoos, but giving him more time in the future. The shop overall was clean and the other guys in the shop were also friendly and joked around with us while we waited.
