My sister went to get her tips removed. They were so overgrown so we decided to go to the nearest salon. Normally the correct way to remove tips is by using acetone and filing, but they used another acrylic tip and ripped it off. My sister said that it burned and hurt in general. They didn’t even file the nails after removal so she went home with rough, scratched nails. They charged us $10 for this process which was a complete waste because the entire removal process wasn’t completed. My sister is now left with weak nails. Another thing is that the person doing her nails also had dirt under their nails. The person also was talking back and made rude remarks. DO NOT RECOMMEND!

The lady was very very sweet but the products looked awful. There were brushes that were sitting in a container that were dirty, ready to be used. There were lotions and nail polishes on her table that had crust around them. When I was sitting there I assumed they weren’t going to be used. I was so grossed out. I didn’t receive the design I wanted. I wanted French tip with color, instead of doing the pink with acrylic she was going to paint everything on. The pink as well as the tips. I’ve never heard of that. Then she proceeded to put a lotion on my hand that looks like it was there for 2 years. The bottle was old and the lotion inside was crusting on the inside and out.

The technicians were great but I brought my mom who is handicapped in a spur of the moment, all she needed was her nails and toes CUT , no polish or anything else and they charged her 27$!!!!! For using a nail clipper for 2min , how was my pedicure that was 30$ only 3$ less than what my mom paid for her nails to be cut. The lady at the front and the owner should be ashamed of them selves !!!! UNREAL. the prices for “cut only” is not listed and the lady said it is the same price as a polish change. Money hungry owners!! Definitely should make that known for your future customers but they probably won’t . Horrible business . Horrible way to treat the elderly , DO NOT GO HERE!

I do like this place a lot, nick did a great job , except half of my nail broke an hour later not sure how. Kathy does an amazing job too! But when I went in to the salon for the second time, I was not happy, this is because the lady who owned the salon put her hand on my stomach without permission and asked am I having a baby which was extremely rude of her to ask, when I had to tell her I’m overweight! AND THAT IS WHY U NEVER ASK! A lot of women look pregnant when their really not! I was so embarrassed. I don’t know if i’m going back to this salon or giving them business. But that lady really embarrassed me

Horrible nail salon. Will definitely not go back. I went in for a mani/pedi. They use old towels, cheap lotions/oils and I believe a cheese grater was used on my heels. I never saw anyone clean out the foot sinks. I don’t know what the gel/lotion was smeared on my calves but my feet and legs were burning (maybe it was the friction on the rubber gloves). I couldn’t wait to get out of there. If you pay with a credit card just know they tack on $0.25 for processing the transaction but don’t tell you that. The price for a pedi is not worth the service. Just pay extra and go to a more upscale salon.

Now I remember why I stopped coming here I came out of desperation but it still was not worth $45 My nails are uneven misshapen And some of them just plain missing dip When I tried to explain she refused to put more dip in on the side And then I was just forget about it No I have to go home and see what repairs I can do to make my $45 knows look good. Not to mention there is no washing your hands or any moisturising oil thereafter

I have been coming to this nail and spa for a long time! I have to say that the owner An her son are very kind an amazing! They are very professional and there facility is very clean also the staff is amazing An kind. I would recommend this place to all my friends An family! I have never had a problem and I have been going to this salon for years an I will continue to. There are people that do not appreciate them like they should! If they don’t like something they should explain before hand instead of complaining like a child. I have read these reviews an I’m offended due to the fact they do an amazing job! In my opinion I feel like they want everything for free instead of paying for good work. I’m proud to say you will have a amazing experience at American Nail & Spa!!!!
