LuLu SALON is a Unisex Luxury Hair Boutique located in Waxhaw NC, and a very proud partner of Aveda. Creative Hair Designer and Senior Stylist Lusine Ivanova has many years of experience in the hair styling world. Lusine has studied and worked as a stylist in Hamburg, Germany, and in 2013 she graduated from the Aveda Institute of Charlotte, NC. Lusine has worked at another Aveda-partner salon before starting LuLu Salon. Lusine is continuously taking many classes throughout the year to stay upto date with current trends and expend her expertise.

I went to Lulu Salon for the first time this weekend and had a great experience! Olivia cut and styled my hair exactly how I envisioned. She spent the time to perfect the cut and walked me through what would work best for my hair type. I had such a great experience that I already booked my next appointment with Olivia. This was a total luxury experience! Ani was amazing, friendly and great! She is phenomenal at what she does and I would highly recommend to anyone! The staff was welcoming and helpful. The salon is clean and very nice. The shampoo chairs are extremely comfortable and it was a relaxing and thorough wash. Definitely the best spot around!

I almost don’t want to share my review, because the more people that go mean the less appointment opportunities for me! I can’t say enough about Lulu Salon, and their employees. Especially my sweet friend Ani. She has patiently worked with me and my mess of hair for the past 2 + years. My hair is healthier than it has ever been, she is patient with me, so concerned that she does what I want, yet isn’t afraid to speak her thoughts about my desires. And if I was possible, I would go to her every single time I need to wash my hair. Literally the most relaxing 10 minutes of my life. I’m so thankful for the wonderful group of people who run and work at Lulu and recommend them to anyone who asks.

Great at doing hair but, BEWARE if they can’t cant reach you to confirm appointment they automatically cancel it. No apology from owner just, “that’s been our policy all along.” Strange since I’ve been going to them since they opened in Waxhaw and this is the first time hearing of it.

It was my first time going to Lulu, and my experience was wonderful! The place is clean, decorated nice, and in a good location. Samantha, did a good job on my haircut. She listened to my hair needs and gave me helpful advise. The time went fast because of easy flow of conversation, Samantha has a very likeable personality. I’m thankful I decided to go here! I loved getting my hair highlighted here. The staff were very accommodating and friendly and the stylists were knowledgeable and sweet. I normally don’t get highlights done, but with a starting consultation and hair plan at the beginning of the visit, I had full confidence I was in good hands. My favorite part was the amazing shampoo they did and styling afterwards. Would definitely go again.
