Positive: Cleanliness, Professionalism, Punctuality, Quality, ValueAlethia, can I just say what an experience to remember! She was extremely professional and punctual. This salon felt like home, almost as if I was visiting my aunt and cousins. They treated everyone like family.This was my first time here, I was referred by a great friend of mine. This will not be my last time coming to this salon.As for the experience, my nephew randomly had a nose bleed. Alethia handled it with ease, kept us calm, and allowed us to go to an urgent care. When we returned it was hours later and almost time for the salon to close but she stayed and completed my nephew’s twist.This was the best customer service experience I ever experience and I wish them nothing but success in 2021. I recommend everyone to come by this salon to get your locs started or retwisted. At this shop you aren’t guest, you’re family!Oh and the starter locs look amazing!! Critical: Professionalism, PunctualityDon’t let these kids play in your hair. First off, I had to wait 2 hours prior to the appointment time for my hairdresser to show up. Which I didn’t make a big fuss about, considering it was New Year’s Day. And I was offered a discount to compensate. ($10 off for a 2 hour wait -.-) Anyways, the appointment was going well, until I saw the final results. I was holding back tears. After expressing my true feelings about the hairstyle, I was charged an extra $35 for it to get corrected. And the hairstylist was being very rough in my head. Splashing dye in my eyes and on my clothes. When it was time to pay I was told that the original price was $110 but because of the inconveniences, I was getting a discount and the charge would be $75. I payed. After coming to my senses I realized I was scammed into paying full price + the extra $35 and the $10 discount I was supposed to get off due to the hairstylist being late. TERRIBLE. Don’t get your hair dyed there. These people are unprofessional. The color correction was nice but the hairstyle…TRASH. Not worth $110. Which I didn’t make a big fuss about, considering it was New Year’s Day. And I was offered a discount to compensate.
