An amazing experience, every time! Lacey at NY NY hair salon and day spa is not only such a sweet, friendly person but she is an absolute expert at what she does! A hair magician. I always feel heard and listened to, cared for, and thrilled with the results! I’ve struggled in the past finding a stylist I trusted to work with my naturally textured, curly hair. Lacey has all my trust, going on 5 years strong and I am still so thankful to have found her!

I got a Signature Spa manicure and pedicure on a Friday before a weekend trip. By Sunday, the top coat began to discolor and 5 of my nails had already chipped (photo 1). After a week, ever nail was chipped and the top coat was peeling off (photos 2, 3 and 4). Although the technician was very good, I wasn’t pleased with the shaping and did not receive a “relaxing 10 minute hand massage”. For $45, I would expect the polish to last more then 2 days especially since I didn’t do anything extreme (like cleaning, scrubbing, etc)

Visited New York, New York for the first time and Tammy was my stylist. She listened to what I wanted & did not want for my highlights and explained exactly what she was going to do to achieve the best results for my hair type (med-fine, wavy/curly) & current style (short, inverted bob). She spent extra time to dry my hair in the unique way that I like it. We had good conversation throughout while she was working and the end result was as I asked. Enjoyed my time at the salon and with Tammy.

Hands-down the best salon I’ve ever been to everybody was extremely helpful. My stylist, Zach, was amazing. I’ve never had anybody take the time to explain and educate me the way he did on my hair and styling hair in general. The staff is super personable and I really love that they introduced me to the owner at the end. Zach cut my hair exactly the way I was expecting I will definitely return to see him again.

Zack did a PHENOMENAL job on my hair. I came in with a grown out balayage that I had been unhappy with for a while (from another salon) and he focused on making my hair exactly how I wanted it to look. He took the time to do a thorough consultation prior to doing anything to my hair. He explained everything that he was doing and gave me lots of options, taking the time to explain what would look best with my hair. I’d recommend Zack to anyone looking for a stylist! So happy with how my hair turned out! The salon staff was super friendly, professional and welcoming. Thank you NY NY!

Very careful with safety. They reduced the number of seats inside to maintain social distancing. Very good job done for my wife, and daughters. I have only used it once myself because I have simple to cut, short hair, but they did give a different look that was very good. My family comes out looking amazing. They know how to do it right for each one when they have different tastes.

Updated review: I got a phone call from the operations manager half an hour after I called. She immediately apologized for my experience, the behavior of the stylist, and on behalf of the owner. She invited me to come back with a different stylist (not the same one — which felt good.)

If you enjoy inexperienced students playing with your hair like a toddler and painting half your scalp black then do come to NY NY salon, so you can pay $200 to have water sprayed in your face during the wash, and your hair pulled every different direction while you try to relax and enjoy your alone time and last but not least speak to the manager and owner who don’t care about your experience at all but will take your money no matter what type of “service”. Their employees choose to give you. I will not be back to this greedy excuse for a salon who blatantly chooses to not put the guest first. You are snakes.

I have gone to Lacey a few times now and love what she does with my hair. She is patient, listens to my ideas, honest about what would work best and does great work! She is easy to talk too and super sweet so that is a plus too! Haircut, Ombre hair color
