Established in 2014. Owner Cat Thibodeau grew up in her grandfather’s barbershop and decided to carry on the family tradition. After gaining experience at the Coast Guard Academy barber shops and Wayne’s Barber Shop in Groton, she decided to branch out on her own and create a sanctuary for men in the Westerly-Pawcatuck area. Products are always 100% quality and specified for a man’s needs, and you will never see a Cosmo or People magazine inside. Rudest service I have ever seen, and the owner is a sight to behold, spouting all kinds of dangerous political rhetoric, propaganda and fascism! It was all very cringe. I felt like I needed a shower, wouldn’t send a dog to this business, let alone myself or my children, and I sure won’t be going back next time I’m in this neck of the woods!!! Recommend you avoid like the plague!! Super expensive as well, for a completely unsatisfactory cut and trim.

Where do I begin. The place is very nice on the inside, staff is friendly most of the time; however, sometimes they seem agitated if they have a lot of customers. The prices are fair, not too expensive, and the complimentary beverages are a nice touch. The thing that KILLS me is the wait. I’ve been there a few times and every time I’ve gone I had to wait AT LEAST 45 minutes. I understand it takes time to cut someone’s hair, but either they need to hire more staff or develop a higher sense of urgency. Is the haircut worth the wait? It depends on who you request….

Nice, fun, and energetic barber shop ! The owner and her staff are all gifted barbers, they do amazing cuts and styles. Whenever anyone asks if there is a good barber shop around I ALWAYS point them in Moderns direction. I also proudly advertise for them by rocking a hoodie I got there ( you can also purchase one yourself at the shop ! ) =)

I’ve never had my appointment delayed or had to wait for a walk in. Stephanie has always done an amazing job with my hair and beard. She is very attentive and listens when I explain what I’m looking for. The employees have all been warm and welcoming.
