The spa is very unique and beautiful. The interior and exterior is very relaxing. There are 3 sections that have waterfalls. The water isn’t very hot, but it’s still relaxing. Beware of the person that decides to stand under the waterfall though as it sprays everywhere. There is a hot tub that is behind a door near the wet and dry saunas and does not have a waterfall. I unfortunately didn’t discover this until I was leaving and was already dressed. The inside pool is large and just the right amount of cool after being in hot water. The outside pool is heated and feels great with the cold mountain air. Overall, great experience. The entry to the hotel is very open with beautiful high ceilings and 2 huge fireplaces. The rooms need some updating and touch-up. The trim work had big blobs of caulking and the tile in the bathrooms was quite possibly the worst I’ve ever seen. The rooms were clean and comfortable though. There are several restaurants on site and plenty of things to do besides the spa. You really don’t need to leave your entire stay. While I did see some children in the hotel, I only saw 2 in the spa the whole day. Bottom line, if you’re looking for a nice place to relax for the weekend, this is your place.

Positive: ProfessionalismIf you’re looking for a five-star spa experience, look no further. We stayed at the hotel Monday-Friday and received a spa service each day. YOU MUST BOOK YOUR APPTS IN ADVANCE!!Each of our services were spectacular. You have access to the spa’s amenities all day long. The five services I enjoyed were:- Aromatherapy Massage – this is a very soothing massage, perfect to get you relaxed.- Pedicure – this was one of the best pedicures I’ve ever had. It was so detailed and I had the entire room to myself, making it so special and relaxing.- Total Body Indulgence – this was my favorite treatment. At first, I was skeptical because the scrub that is performed is in two parts – one dry and one wet. After that, you receive a Swedish massage and it was wonderful!!- Classic Facial – this was incredible, I feel asleep twice. It was so soothing and completely worth the money.- Mountain View Massage – I did a 50 min session in this room which overlooks the mountains. The room has a fireplace and it is so quaint and beautiful, a perfect way to relax and an even better way to have ended the trip.I would also caution you to book reservations at the restaurants as soon as possible because they will fill up and you will be SOL.If you’re looking for a five-star spa experience, look no further. Stunning sunrise and sunset views. Elaine’s is too much fun! Pro tip: Book as early as possible for the spa! If you don’t get a resy, go when the spa opens and try to snag one. Absolutely worth it.

My favorite post holiday retreat to relax at the spa, the deep tissue massages are the best, followed by hot and cold plunge tanks, and sitting by the fireplace.

Beautiful atmosphere, spectacular views. Breakfast buffet was pricey. The front desk employees and elevator operators were very friendly. We had problems with our key cards getting into our room and getting out of the parking lot.

Been going here for years but took a break because of COVID. First time back and there have been a few changes. Just a heads up for anyone that has been there prior. First, the prices for many things have gone up considerably. When I called, I had the choice of a $500 facial or $200 day pass ($244 once they added an automatic 22% gratuity to the day pass price). Two, the old silent retreat room (the one with the open windows and fireplace) is now just a regular room. Staff informed me people were allowed to talk in there now if they were quiet. That room was so relaxing and meditative before and people literally had the rest of the spa to chat. Third, I did not hear the underwater music. That’s minor but it was all the little touches that made this place special. Fourth, the food and drink menu has changed and I was not impressed. Lastly, they close at 6 (weekdays) and 7 (weekends) instead of 9, which cuts into your day by several hours if you enjoy spending the day there. In all honesty, I will probably go back but am also looking into other spas in the Southeast.

Amazing! Services were timely and fantastic. Pools are warm so you don’t have to worry about the cooler (or colder depending on the season) climates, and the views are spectacular

This review is for the spa. Not the hotel. My girlfriends and I all wanted to hang out for a spa day, while guests of the hotel. I decided in a $175 pedicure in lieu if the $250 price tag to hang out in the spa. With the pedicure, you get to use the spa amenities.
