Stopped by for a “high and tight “ cut and saw very reasonable prices posted on the window for men’s cuts starting at $12. There were no other customers and I was able to walk in and immediately get my haircut. Kim cut my hair and was very nice and provided good conversation. My haircut was not exactly what I asked for but was acceptable. When it came time to pay, Kim charged me $30.00 for the cut! As a business, feel free to charge what you want for your services but please be truthful in what you list the services as costing. It’s unfortunate that I was charged this much for my haircut, as I will never go back to this establishment again. From reading other reviews on Masterfade, I’m not the only customer she has fleeced.

Although Kim the owner was nice, her skills as a barber leave much to be desired. I went in for a beard trim and haircut. Midway thru the service another person walked in. Her attention left my head pretty quickly as she spoke with the person asking what they needed. I felt the rest of my visit was hurried and she seemed to be careless. Our visit conversation was very odd as I asked her if she was the only barber there. There were multiple stations all over the salon but she was the only barber on staff. She explained to me that after working for more than a decade at the mall, she became very tired of working with other women in the industry claiming too much drama. Of course her accent is very sick and she speaks very fast so I wasn’t able to interpret 100% of the conversation. I took it with a grain of salt and left after the appointment. When I got home I inspected the work and realized that her work on my beard was terrible. I had many areas that were cut too short and some left long. I ended up getting my own clippers out and just shaving the beard to one length. Additionally I found several areas where mistakes were made on my haircut as well. I went back to my normal barber three days later to get that fixed as well. I sent her a text message about the problem with my cut and she immediately responded with a phone call. She asked me to give her another chance and she come back another time. Unfortunately, my trust in her at this point was shaken and I had no intentions of returning. I’m very disappointed in the service and really wish I had never step foot into the salon.

I only let 2 people touch my hair for a cut now, Kim being one of them for over a decade and a half. Absolutely the worst haircut ever. Torturous clipper cut. The guy spent over a half hour going over and over and over my scalp with the clippers. My scalp was almost bleeding and they have the audacity to charge $30.00! What a joke.

**DO NOT GO HERE**. I was in the chair for less than 7 minutes for my hair and beard to be trimmed. This cost me $40. I understand that times are hard and my continued gratuity shows it. This was a joke.

Went in March 31, 2017 and received easily the worst haircut since my mom cut my hair when I was a young child. The owner, an elderly Asian woman, spent no more than 3 minutes on my cut. Sloppy, hurried, and didn’t even clean up the back of my neck. Then she charged me $15. I would rather never get my hair cut ever again than return.

I got a nice med-high taper here and was happy. The stylist (she goes by “Soy”), was an older but very youthful and nice lady. She spent a lot of time checking on the details and making sure it looked good.

Kim cuts my boys hair all the time, I’ve been coming to her for 3 years, since moving back to Puyallup in 2015. Very friendly and does an awesome job, I would highly recommend her!
