Most shops would have turned away a group of 6 walk-in tattoos, but Mikey and Nick were very accommodating. In a time where good help is so hard to find, we were luckily to have found this shop. We could not have been more impressed with 1920 Tattoo! Most shops would have turned away a group of 6 walk-in tattoos, but Mikey and Nick were very accommodating. In a time where good help is so hard to find, we were luckily to have found this shop. Everything was clean and all of the tattoos turned out great. We will definitely be back. Every idea I bring him – he never fails to take it to the next level! If this tells you anything, he moved and changed shops a few years back and I drive 2 hours one way to continue getting the best quality tats.

Critical: ProfessionalismWent a couple years back and was reminded of the shop when someone I knew had a similar experience. My husband and I went looking to get a simple “fist bump” in a traditional style. We had jackets on and one artist made a comment saying “you know they hurt right?” While my husband was outside at the car and little did the artist know that I’m fairly heavily tattooed. So another artist came by and asked again for our idea and said “if you think of an educated idea, I’ll do it.” So then ANOTHER artist told us to sit tight and that he’d grab us in a sec. We waited and we’re just goofing off on our phones and talking and when we finally checked how long we had been waiting it had been 45 minutes- an hour. We finally got up and cut our losses.Some shops I’ve noticed will treat those that they think don’t have a lot of tattoos completely differently, and that’s how it felt when we went in. As people walked in with visible tattoos they seemed to be super friendly, and if someone walked in without any they seemed much colder. Went a couple years back and was reminded of the shop when someone I knew had a similar experience. My husband and I went looking to get a simple “fist bump” in a traditional style. Took us right in, made us feel welcome and did an awesome job on our minimalistic tattoos. We will definitely be coming back the next time we’re in town!
