I have been going to Roxi for about 25 years. Ever since I was 15 and she always delivers the best haircut and color ever! I can confidently say she is one of the best stylists in the DMV. She is so skilled and talented. She’s like a sister to me after all of these years and I just love her. I always get so many compliments on my hair because of her and she can do anything from short hair, shoulder length, or long. I’ve had it all and she’s the greatest!

So far have had only positive experiences coming here. Would love for the stylists in training hair cut days to come back! Got a fabulous cut and style for half the price. It’s a bit pricey but it’s always come out well.

I had an appointment scheduled at 4:15 pm and was only called a few hours before to let me know the stylist wasn’t coming in, even though they knew before they opened that day. I understand things happen but they handled it totally unprofessionally and could not accommodate with a different stylist. If I would have cancelled with such little notice, I would have been charged!

This was my first time experiencing a real salon and could not be any more satisfied. LEAH IS AWESOMEEEE!! I literally wanted to to cry at how good my hair looked when I saw the outcome. I have always gone to less traditional + cheap haircut-shops since I was very young and never felt as happy with an outcome the way I did today. I not only felt well taken care of but also felt that I had an actual say on how I wanted my hair throughout the process, which is something I never felt I had before. Another cool thing I learned is that even if I was unhappy with the service (which I’m definitely not) I could always come within two weeks to get it fixed up without charge. I went to Jeremiah for a haircut recently, and it’s by far the best haircut I’ve ever gotten. I’m not very good at describing what I’m looking for, but Jeremiah did an incredible job taking my vague descriptions and asking questions to find the right cut for me and my lifestyle. I’ve never been happier with how my hair looks, and highly recommend Alchemy Salon (and Jeremiah in particular!)

She went above and beyond I cannot express how much she managed to do and yet still managed to satisfy to the fullest. She helped jump in when my original stylist had a medical emergency. She knows what she’s doing and is very kind. I was amazed how well she was able to do so many things at once and not fail to impress. She worked on half my highlights with no issues which was amazing(no breakage!) She toned my hair as well with little to no issue. Then the haircut. She was so patient, and quick, and gave great advice since I am indecisive. She was very patient and nice even when I suddenly realized that I wanted to spice up my haircut even more. Not to mention that she had like 3+ other clients she had scheduled obviously not expecting to have someone else thrown her way(not to mention her clients haircuts looked amazing when she was done with them). I could not be more grateful to have such a skilled and patient stylist as her. Will be booking her my next time. Staff are great and nice! Shereen is an outstanding stylist! This was my first haircut since pre-pandemic days and it was a really enjoyable experience. Shereen put me at ease and from the moment I sat down, it was clear I was in good hands. I haven’t felt this confident about my haircut in years and she gave me some great product recommendations (at my request) but didn’t pressure me to buy anything I didn’t think was right for me. She is a wonderful conversationalist and I will definitely be back! I was also impressed with the service I received from other members of the alchemy team. It was pouring rain as I was about to leave, so they offered me a shower cap to keep my hair dry as I ran to my car, and told me I was welcome to wait for the rain to pass. Thanks for everything, Shereen + the Alchemy team!
