I have been going to this spa for over a year now for what I call my “mid-year/quarterly self-care day” and it has been a lovely experience each time for my facials and massages. Very relaxing atmosphere and staff has been kind and courteous. Always greeted by front desk staff and they always ask if I need anything or have any questions. Throughout my sessions they always ask how I’m doing and adjust if needed. At my last massage my massage therapist noticed how tight my shoulders and neck were and gave me some exercises I could do to help relieve tension during my work day. They didn’t have to do that, but they cared enough to help me even after I was done there.

Stopped in to the Beach House Spa a bit ahead of Christmas for a facial and I was absolutely stunned by the entire experience. From the moment you enter this serene, peaceful building everything is warm and inviting. The front desk staff greeted me warmly, I was given a thorough list of preferences to help guide my aesthetician, and had such a truly elegant time. My aesthetician, Rhiannon, only enhanced this already amazing experience from there. She discussed different options I had for self care once I left, gave me the best spa experience I’ve ever had, and left me feeling so superb I can’t wait to be back. 10/10.

I had a pedicure at the spa. I was specific about what I wanted. The place was quiet and I was led to a waiting room. The esthetician was more than 20 minutes late. As she started the pedicure and I was sure to repeat what I made the appointment for again. I asked to have a single acrylic nail applied to a damaged nail bed and a pull pedicure. She said “OK”. I was shocked to see the emory board she picked up was used and really filthy. It was so obvious. I pointed out that I wanted her to use a new one and she said “it is”. We were both looking at the stained, worn, shreaded emory board. I couldn’t believe it. I don’t like to complain, honestly. So I sat there, while she filed and then minutes later, threw it in the trash, emptied the trash and got a new emory board like nothing happened. I said, “the emory board was not clean when you started” and she repeated “no it was clean”. The she proceeded to start to apply a base layer to the nails. I asked “aren’t you going to put on the acrylic nail and she said “we don’t do those”. This was the main reason I was there and I told her that and she shrugged and started to proceed again. I got up and left. I called the manager and voiced my dissatisfaction and was promised a call back from someone with authority from the business office who would likely refund my prepaid bill. I never heard a word from them. The tools were not clean it was very obvious the tray the esthetician grabbed a used set up. The emory board was particularly disgusting.

I don’t usually post negative reviews but for services like this I feel like it’s important to provide feedback for others who may be considering a visit. My husband and I visited and had a couples massage. When you check in they give you an opportunity to upgrade. We both selected an “add on scalp massage” for $30 each. As we sat in the waiting room a woman came in from her massage and told us it was the worst massage she had ever had and was really upset about it. We tried not to let that ruin our experience and went in with an open mind. The overall massage experience was not horrible but it was a very far cry from our best experience. I was told that the “add on” would be included as part of the 50 minute massage – this was not clear at all. I was expecting it to be a true addition. I had to request pressure during the massage because my experience started off as if the masseuse was literally just rubbing oil into my skin. The actual experience had less than 2 min of scalp massage total for both my husband and I. It was a RIDICULOUS charge for what you get and then you’re still expected to tip. Don’t do it. Not worth it. And by the way, regardless of the free glass of bubbly promised for the add on, don’t expect to get it. Never happened. We won’t be back.

My fiancé and I had 2 classic massages, we had a great time! All we needed to finish the weekend! The personnel was very welcoming and the therapist was super nice and delicate. The service was awesome with all you need to feel like at home and the place is really comfy. We loved this moment, thank you!

I love hydrafacial and have been doing it in a different spa, so I decided to try the ocean edge spa, since it is just 15 min away from my home. The spa looked nice and staff was welcoming.

4 of us went for massages this morning. The spa seems clean and peaceful. One masseuse talked about how she was an anti vaxer and tried to get one of us to take our mask off. NOT okay. 2 out of 4 of us had an awesome experience. However we also had these booked a year in advance with pedicures and we had to cancel our pedicures due to lack of staff. For Ocean Edge, I expected better.
