Critical: Professionalism, Punctuality, QualityAwful experience!! Went there myself a year ago when I first moved here and the stylist didn’t cut my hair as I wanted even with a picture. Then a year lady my daughter asked me to schedule her an appointment somewhere nearby just to clean up a pixie cut that was growing into a mullet, I figured a different stylist may work, still she asked me to go with her to explain what she didn’t want and what she wanted and to bring a few pictures so I did, the stylist was late, could oversee that but after quickly explaining and showing her pics I had to run to a meeting. In the middle of my meeting my daughter sent me pictures, Just when you think nobody can mess up a simple “clean up the back” she did. My daughter looked like a little boy. The person that was with me couldn’t believe the picture, I called my daughter and told her it looks very bad and unfinished & to ask her to fix it and make it feminine, she used scissors instead of the clippers and you can see a huge difference between the hair growing out and the hair at the nape. She was to fade it I’m not expert but if a stylist doesn’t know that then God knows how she got her license, I showed her 2 pictures that were self explanatory. My daughter then tells me that the stylist then became very upset over my call and very judgmental saying how old are you after cutting her ear a bit. She also asked her why is your mom still making appointments for you?! She went ahead and said another client makes appointments for her 21-year-old son and she thinks it’s ridiculous. In my case since I am growing out a pixie myself and having had 2 bad experiences with stylist since we moved here from California/Colorado where these “stylist” didn’t listen to what I want and just kept cutting, my daughter asked me to go with her because she feared that, it’s none of her business but it has everything to do with people like her. The friend that was with me that day, a lovely German lady says she thought it was cute that I am involved in my daughters life still even if she is 22, she said she does the same with her 21 year old. maybe it’s not an American thing since I am Hispanic and she is German but anyway she shouldn’t judge. Most importantly…. A pixie is hard to hide and if It doesn’t look fabulous is a disaster. If she doesn’t know how to do that then she shouldn’t volunteer, She should pass it on to somebody that does know. She didn’t understand that the hair on top has to grow over the bottom first and you have to get it cleaned up in between, she told my daughter she couldn’t cut any if she was trying to grow it out I’m sure in that salon there are some good stylist unfortunately we haven’t run into those ones yet but WONT take a gamble and return again. I suggest you ask your stylist if she can perform the haircut you want before trusting them!Awful experience!!
