The Spa offers five treatment rooms (one for couples), a relaxation room, nail treatment area and hair salon, the Swan Bar with complimentary teas, coffees, and housemade granola, as well as prosecco and spa lunches for purchase. There are also women’s and men’s locker rooms. Adjoining the Spa is the resort’s heated indoor pool, Jacuzzi, sauna and state-of-the-art fitness room. The Spa features a wide variety of services including massage therapies, facials, nail treatments, cosmetic applications, and a hair salon.

Loved this Resort. Everyone was exceptionally nice and the grounds were beautiful. The drive into the resort was great, it made you feel like you were actually going to be on vacation. We went during winter and it actually snowed, even better.

Critical: QualityWe were disappointed with our experience. The grounds are beautiful and well kept. However, the interior of our suite was drab and did not create an inviting feel. They have started a renovation of the first floor and the hotel definitely needs a makeover. It looks worn.Our rooms were not clean. The white slippers I wore in the room were dirty on the bottom after the first day. Moreover, we should have been told in advance that there was no daily maid service. In fact, we bought a few cleaning supplies to do the daily maintenance ourselves. Given the cost of the resort the lack of daily maid service is not acceptable – regardless of the reasons.The food was mediocre compared to the great restaurant options in Blowing Rock. After one dinner we did not return.On a positive note, the spa personnel were personable and talented. They took great care to ensure social distancing in spa lounge and locker room. Amazing experience at the spa…once I found it. Driving on the premises I did not see many signs for the spa. I had to go to the check in office to ask how do I get to the spa. The staff was wonderful and the ambience was nice with low lighting comfy seating snacks and drinks. Heather was great.

The staff was friendly and my facial was good (my facialist was actually great!). But the facilities are lacking (no relaxing sauna, steam room or pool… not even a comfy room to shower and get dressed) for such a beautiful resort, and the products they use are a joke (the same brand also sells specially vibrated distilled water which they claim cures hangovers and prevents sunburn).

Had a wonderful facial there on 11/6! I wish I could remember the name of the tech. She had a very gentle touch and my face felt pampered and very soft and clean afterwards, especially my nose which I guess doesn’t normally get enough attention. I also loved the clean, natural scent of the products used. I often sneeze from artificial scents, but these were all very subtle and earthy and felt great on my skin. Highly recommended!

Critical: Communication, ProfessionalismI am beyond upset with how my reservation was handled. I was told to check back two days prior to my reservation to see if I could bring my 5 lb dog. When I called I was told that I could and my new reservation with the dog was all set. I called to cancel my reservation to board my dog. I got a call at 7:30 that night letting me know that they could no longer honor that and I could not bring my dog. The manager did not care that I had cancelled my reservation and that I would have to scramble the next morning to try and find somewhere for my dog to go. I got both the Signature Massage and Signature Facial last week and both were fabulous. Jodie was so professional, caring and has the magic touch on a senior’s old muscles and face! My morning back pain has reduced considerably and was told my “face looked beautiful” last night!! The spa itself is super clean, well-appointed and has anything you might need. It was a fantastic treat.
