I’ve left Mateo to save some money. But, I’ve returned because when you save money, but aren’t happy with your hair, you go to the place where you always walk out satisfied. It may be a little more, but it’s worth the money I spend. Another reason is that he understands curly hair. Something, very few hairstylists in my experience, have understood. Thanks for the great service Mateo!

I got my extensions done by Mateo and oh my G! These are the most natural healthy looking extensions I’ve ever had! Mateo made the process SO easy from start to finish and in such a timely manner. He was very meticulous in choosing the hair color with me and included me in the decision making process. His recommendation was a hybrid of kinds of extensions and I didn’t even know that was an option. I feel like I’ve gone from a 3 to a 10!! Mateo cares about hair. Enjoys doing hair and is particular and conscientious about every product he uses. I can’t say enough wonderful things about this salon or my stylist, Zachary. Today was my third trip and I felt so well cared-for as I have from the vet first visit. The salon is welcoming and the products are to die for. Zachary is truly an artist with my hair and makes me feel so relaxed and pampered with his head and neck massage. Mateo, Zach, Brandy are FANTASTIC at what they do. I HIGHLY recommend Verbena!! They are always spot on with everything I want. Being blonde, it can be hard to find someone who actually does what you want, rather than just bleaching it and toning it ashy. I asked Mateo for a warm blonde look, and he did not disappoint — and continues to make me feel and look absolutely gorgeous!! If you’re on the fence, BOOK THEM! You will not regret it!
