The experience I had tonight was absolutely awful. My friend and I had an appointment for pedicures. Instead of having two people work on our nails, there was one person. I was first and I got the Classic spa pedicure. The lady rushed it so fast and was very aggressive with my toes that I said “ow” 3 times. She painted my toes before the foot and leg massage, so I did not receive a foot massage. The leg massage wasn’t even a massage. Basically just rubbing lotion on my legs. Super disappointed! My friend did the luxury and she did have a better experience than me. We just wished that our pedicures were at the same time! And I’ll have to fix this pedicure at home, just very disappointed and will never come back.

I went in asking for a fill. I usually go to another place, but they were full so I ran across the street to Anthem Nails. I asked to keep the round shape I had and the lady doing my nails immediately said, “I don’t like round nails, I’ll give you almond.” I told her 3/4 times after that that I didn’t want pointy nails, she proceeded to do it anyway. After butchering the shape, I asked to see the OPI gel colors, she replied “Nope, I won’t use those ones.” Not only did I not get the right shape, but I also didn’t get the color I wanted either.

Maia did the best pedicure and she did a shellac manicure for my girlfriend that was so relaxing. She loved it and was so happy I introduced her to this place. Maia did the best pedicure and she did a shellac manicure for my girlfriend that was so relaxing. She loved it and was so happy I introduced her to this place. Critical: ProfessionalismI would have given them a higher rating but they are over priced for the services they provide. I also witnessed a horrible display of unprofessional behavior. A woman came in and requested a pedicure. She told the nail employee which one and the lady kept telling her that wasn’t a “good service” she kept telling the customer that she should do the “better service”. The woman made it very clear she wanted the lower level of service. She wanted a simple pedicure- more importantly she knew what she wanted. The women continued to demand the woman increase her service and she pretended not to understand or acknowledge the woman and she opened the packaging for the more expensive service. At that point the women exhaustively told her she didn’t want that service it was twice the cost of the service she wanted. The worker than told the woman she already opened it and it was a “better” service and she should get it. The lady basically got bullied into a service that she didn’t want.Getting your nails done should be a nice and comforting activity. This customer should have been treated a lot more respectively.I was also overcharged. My service was 45 and my daughters was 35 the woman wrote both numbers down and then added them up to 95 . I mentioned it should be 80 and she said “no I did the math” I didn’t want yo argue so added the tip and made the payment. 105 for 1 pedicure and 1 manicure.Not a good a value or relaxing experience. We won’t be back. My daughter (10 years old) and I have been coming here for about a year. Our last appointment on August 11 was the first time I have ever left unhappy. We had technicians we haven’t had before. My daughter has some sensory issues and they are normally great with her. This time I noticed her wince and pull away a ton. I think her technician was fairly new. Mine was an older woman who I have seen working there but haven’t had my nails done by. She rushed us into choosing a color (my daughter and I get matching nails each time.) We wanted a deeper yellow color, like a sunflower yellow. While looking at the color cards, my technician seemed annoyed and just said she would get us yellow. The yellow we got is way brighter than what we were wanting. I needed acrylic tips on my nails. She didn’t ever ask me the shape I wanted and just cut them to the length she chose. She burned me twice with the Dremel and got frustrated when I didn’t turn my hand exactly how she wanted. My nails are also extremely thick after the layers of acrylic and gel. I have had both before and never had this problem. I accidentally bumped my nail putting into the dryer, something I’ve never had happen before and she rolled her eyes and told me to be careful. My daughter and I both wanted a flower on our ring fingers. She got a flower. My technician seemed bothered and asked if I wanted something else…I didn’t dare say no. She painted a white leafy design on my ring and pointer finger. I liked the design but it wasn’t what I asked for and didn’t match my daughter which is one of our favorite parts of getting our monthly manicures. The polish job on my nails is not good quality and I ended up filing them into an almond shape from the ugly square shape I was left with. They also usually put lotion on and rub our arms at the end. This time she just pointed to the lotion bottle and said, “rub”. My daughter didn’t get lotion at all. I ended up paying $90 to leave the salon upset and embarrassed of my nails. I am serching for a new salon to get my acrylics soaked off and to get our nails redone this weekend, I can’t look at these any longer.

Mai was my technician. I got the Luxe foot spa pedicure. It was relaxing and my toes look great. I was blown away by the shear number of nail polish choices available. The place was super clean and the best part-she didn’t talk on her cell phone during my appointment. That always irks me if they do. Pedicure
