Very nice people. Quality service and my nails lasted a long time with the gel on my own nails. The person I came with got acrylics and was also very satisfied with the design, nails, and gel that was applied. Definitely will return here.

The ladies in the salon were warm and welcoming. I called ahead for an appointment and they were ready for me on time. My nail technician, Nia, asked for my expectations and I showed her the picture of what I wanted and she got to work. I don’t like places that get overzealous with the drill and cut into the epicureal fold. Nia was gentle, effective, and a perfectionist. My nails look IG-worthy and at a great value. I’ve had some less than stellar experiences in nail salons in Harrisburg. This small nail salon was definitely exceptional. The ladies in the salon were warm and welcoming. I called ahead for an appointment and they were ready for me on time. My nail technician, Nia, asked for my expectations and I showed her the picture of what I wanted and she got to work. Will never return to this salon again. Very unsanitary and unorganized place. Did not wear gloves or wash hands in between clients. Asked for OPI Bubble Bath, which I saw on their shelf after not having the color I wanted in Dip, labeled a random pink with a label maker in another brands jar. Lots of sns residue on my actual skin. Only thing I left happy with was the shape and my nails aren’t chunky. They were also openly talking bad about a pregnant client who had left. Seems like they have happy regulars, just wish I had a better experience.

Great nail service. They place a lot of attention to detail. The reason for the 3 stars is due to the waxing I received there. The technician burnt my eyelid and also let alcohol drip into my eye. It was NOT a pleasant experience. I will go back for my nails only.

Excellent customer service. I had an issue with my nails, it was a Saturday morning and did not have an appointment. I walked in, explained my issue and was immediately placed in a chair. I ended up having a multiple step process and they explained everything step by step. I was in some pain when I went in there, thinking I was going to wind up in the ER. Walked out with gorgeous nails and a New Nail Place.

When I moved to Harrisburg from uptown Charlotte I tried about six different salons up here trying to find the quality I’m accustomed to. Basecoat is the ONLY shop I’ll go to anywhere in the area. Not only is their work amazing, but the people themselves are welcoming, conversational, and remember you and your name and your service every time you go. This is forever my shop.

I needed a pedicure but my normal nail salon is now closed on Sunday. So I stopped into this place for the first time. Small but cute spot. They were too busy to get me at the time and said that they could get me in, 2 hours later. So I left and came back. 2 hours later, they remembered me and I was able to come right in and get seated. OMG I enjoyed this visit!! It has been a long time since someone has pampered me and given my feet such attention. I think my technician’s name was Nina, and she did a wonderful job. I felt right at home, we had good conversation, and she took her time. Their prices were very reasonable compared to the service that they gave which was exceptional.. I think I’ve found a new spot!
