I was excited to try a place by my job. The workers were nice, however, I told them two or three times that my dip nails were bulky. I have gotten dip over 50 times in my life and not only did they come out thick, the tips were uneven and extremely square when I repeatedly said not to have the sides so pointy. The pointer also has a lose section, had to file when I got home

Critical: ProfessionalismI’m beyond disappointed in the service I received today, arriving at my appointment 6:30 appointment for 3 I got there at 6:38. I picked a neon green mani padi. I over heard the whole time I was there, a lady with highlights just going on about switching pedicures and polish for customers because of the time. I received a great pedicure which I was not at all disappointed. Although, when it came to doing my manicure the dip. My nail tech was focused on the gentleman besides me doing my friends nails. He kept looking at the time. I made comments that they seem to like to leave at 7:30 closing time. 10 mins before closing wrapping it up my neon green nails were so thin coated. You can see my under nail. The person doing my nails noticed, and can tell I was not happy by the turn out. At this point I was uncomfortable, I made a comment that they look cheap. They offered to paint no chip on it. I told him no that is fine. I paid for the services that I received. I made a comment that my nails look like trash and I wasn’t happy. The lady said we offered you something. I told her I was not okay with that solution. The reason I get dipped nails is for the color, I’m sorry painting no chip to dipped nails while you guys seemed very comfortable rushing things to leave on time. Making customers feel extremely uncomfortable to let you know they don’t accept that fast solution just to rush me out of there.I will tell you guys this, Fantastic Nails in willow brook, took me for a mani padi 30 mins before closing. Nicely asked me to come early because they close at 7:30. Pink nails is my very thick dip set I got from there Services: Pedicure, Dip powder, ManicureI’m beyond disappointed in the service I received today, arriving at my appointment 6:30 appointment for 3 I got there at 6:38. Went in for basic pedicure. Legit a 20 min pedicure, was not relaxing at at. Massage for both legs was 4 min total, where they just rubbed my shins (there is no muscle, would of rather massaged my calf or feet) the warm towel wasn’t even on for 60 seconds. Didn’t scrub my feet. Actually paint on nails is very thin and sheer. Prices increase to $35 for pedicure. Will go elsewhere for a more spa-like treatment

Critical: ProfessionalismIf you arrive for service after 5:00 pm, expect rude and poor service. I am not surprised by the other reviews stating that they were rushed. I’ve had my nails done at this Magic Nails Burr Ridge location three times. The first time, I came in early for my noon appointment, and was not seated until closer to 12:20 pm. I was patient since I knew it was a busy time. The ladies at the front seemed very flustered and in a rush to get everyone to pick a color and then seated. The last time I went, I decided to go after work when the salon is not as busy. My goodness, that was far worse. I felt so rushed and I had to put up with such horrible attitudes by the three employees that remained. The lady customer who was almost finished with her service received such better service than I did. They offered her water, pulled out her chair, offered to hang her purse on the hook for her, held a conversation with her, etc. For me, it was like I was their #1 enemy because I came in for a 5:30 pm appointment. I came in to do a full set and pedicure for my sister’s wedding. With my schedule, that is the only time that I can come in for a 2 hour appointment. Since they close at 8:00 pm, I figured a 5:30 appointment would be perfect. The lady who did my feet, I believe her name is Thu, she kept yanking my feet. Each time I needed to switch my feet, she would bang on the foot rest area as though to signal me to switch feet, then if I didn’t switch fast enough, she would yank my foot forward. SO RUDE AND UNPROFESSIONAL! Then, she was supposed to do my nails. She previously did my nails during my noon appointment, and she did a great job. So, I was looking forward to this repeat performance. But, she passed me on to someone else so that she can go home before closing. She pointed to where I needed to sit, did not offer to pull out my chair, hang my purse, or offer water. Then, when I sat down to do my nails, she started to file my nails, then abruptly got up and said that her coworker, a man, will do my nails. The guy came over and started to file my nails, but before he was able to put my tips on, he asked me to pay so that his manager, Thu, could close out their system and she can go home. I haven’t even received service on my nails yet, no nice conversation, poor customer service, yet I was essentially forced to pay so she could leave. The guy was very nice. We held a good conversation, but he too complained about how late they all get home sometimes. As an attorney, I am extremely busy and my time for personal errands is limited. I thought this location would’ve been perfect for me long-term since I work less than 3 minutes away. But, after being rushed and disrespected like my patronage did not matter, I am never returning.Overall, they do pretty decent work. They shape nails well and apply the polish evenly. But, if you come in for an appointment later in the day, you will not have a great experience.Services: Pedicure, Gel manicuresIf you arrive for service after 5:00 pm, expect rude and poor service. Not satisfied with my dip manicure. Less then a week later the polish started cracking. I have never had this issue before and I have been getting dip manicures for a long time. I tried this place out for first time and will never go back. The dip usually lasts 3 weeks not less then a week. The man who did my nails was rushing and had to step away in middle of my manicure to go file someone else nails. I thought that was unsanitary. Not a good experience and not going back.

I was rushed during my pedicure. My feet wasn’t even able to soak and there is still dead skin. The whole pedicure was 16 min, which was suppose to include a “10 min “ massage”. The massage was less than 4 min, I do not recommend anyone who wants a relaxing spa experience to go here for their prices

Critical: ProfessionalismAngie was my technician I requested a simple dip color change and from that point she did not speak to me again. The way she rushed through my service without asking if I liked my nails, she had my hands covered in powder and. Hand to ask her if I could wash my hands. She was not friendly at all. I drove from wriggly to this nail salon because I went a few years back and loved it. I felt as if she was paying to do my mail and not the other way around. Im pretty disappointed that I made time to pamper myself just to feel like I’m being ignored and not a valued customerService: ManicureAngie was my technician I requested a simple dip color change and from that point she did not speak to me again.
