I first want to start by saying I appreciate her staying late to do our hair. I called Tuesday to make an appointment and told her I had long hair and wanted highlights and my friend had shoulder length hair and wanted highlights as well. She said no problem. When we get there she starts to panic when we show her what we want done. I will say my hair had three different colors in it from dying it last year. She could’ve very easily said she didn’t feel comfortable trying to color my hair and I wouldn’t have been mad. I also told her I know I have dead ends but I only want my hair trimmed she agreed.i explained my baby shower is in a week and I don’t want short hair. My hair was 3 inches from my butt and now is shoulder length. So I’m extremely upset. Not only that but my hair had three colors in it when I arrived and I know have 5 different colors in my hair. My hair looks worse now then it did when I arrived. My friend has two different shades of blonde highlights in her hair as well. Neither of us were satisfied and she charged us an outrageous amount. I will not be returning. Also to add we both showed her what we were looking for and she wouldn’t even attempt to do what we asked for. So I now have to go pay someone else to fix this for my baby shower.

Just got my second haircut from here and I can see such a difference and I am getting lots of compliments. Michelle really takes her time and makes sure the hair is laying just right and everything is even. I appreciate her attention to detail as it shows. I will continue to patronize her business. Went in for a haircut and a dye job. I called and asked if they had unnatural colors, which they said they did. All she did was buzz the sides of my hair. No other cutting or styling. Then, after she bleached my roots, she comes back with the colors I did want, but when I asked if they are permanent, she acted like unnatural permanent color wasn’t a thing. I had permanent color already in, and I have a strong preference for permanent hair dye for unnatural colors. The semi permanents that I have used in the past leak more, don’t hold as long, stain surfaces, and are only vibrant for maybe a week. I just don’t have good experiences and refuse to use semis for a color that I want to keep for much longer than semi would provide. That’s fine. I told her that it’s okay, and I’d just pick up some permanent dye from Sally’s and diy. Could’ve been fine. She then walks to the register without drying or styling my hair at all. Didn’t even brush it out after washing it at this point. So, I ask to use a brush to at least brush my own hair. She obliges and continues to ring me up. She only buzzed my sides of my hair and bleached my roots. Expecting maybe a 50-60 check out, only to be told it’s 85 for everything. No styling, awful gospel music the whole time, and my roots bleached. Please explain how that equals that amount??? Will not be back. I’m sure she does great with other people, but my experience was lackluster at best.

It turned out kinky curly on the top and straight on the bottom. I paid $116 and a$15 tip. I just talked to her, and she’s going to refund$58. I guess I learned my lesson the hard way and it cost me quite a lot. Do NOT use her for a perm. She made me believe it would turn out just like the picture I showed her, but it’s awful.
