Haircut result was uneven. Called and left a message requesting a call back to fix it, and I received no return call. I’d say I experienced poor customer service and poor quality cut. I have long hair and had to cut off extra to make it even. I ended up doing a better job fixing the botched up work the lady quickly did. I’m very disappointed I wasted my money here. I will never return to this place. May be cheaper than some of their competitors, but it shows in the quality of work.

For starters, after stopping in to reserve a spot before getting a manicure nextdoor, I was acknowledged but never put in the queue. So I had to wait an additional hour. Finally I was seated by a gray-haired gentleman who did not bother to sweep up from the previous cut. Whatever. So I told the stylist I wanted him to just trim split ends and clean things up. He asked how much I wanted taken off, and I stated, “as little as you need to to clean up the ends.” He stated that my hair was “actually in pretty good shape”, yet proceeded to take off so much length, my hair went from long layers ending at my nipple line (sorry I’m a nurse) to an asymmetric bob ending at my clavicle bone. Being au natural, that’s a six-inch distance! The stylist stated that he thought this was a good length for me. Who cares? He had no right. I’m extremely upset. Traumatized in fact. It extremely difficult to grow out my hair because it is curly, and I had mentioned this to the stylist before he got started. What a nightmare! I went in for a trim. Was explicit with my wishes. But came out with a banker bob and a full third of my length gone. FML.

Initially was seen by a gentleman, didn’t get his name, who seemed overall impatient with my request for a straight cut. I thought maybe he was just inexperienced so tried to be patient and he just continued to become agitated. However, once he switched me over to Lorena, she was patient, professional, and gave me a great cut! Would have given 5 stars if not for the initial guy that was very dismissive of my concerns and tried to gaslight me that his wavy cut was a straight line. If you have a choice, see Lorena (and don’t forget to tip well!)

Had to change this from 5 stars to 2. I came in today to get my hair touched up and got a very sloppy cut. I waiting for 30+ min (which I dont mind) and then got a rushed haircut with little hairs sticking out everywhere. Really disappointing. I thought this would be my regular place.
