Opened in 2020 by local Manistee graduate Kirstyn O’Dell, Beyond the Mirror has became one of the loved salons in Manistee. Offering a wide range of services and flexible hours, she has continued to meet the needs of Manistee’s beauty community. Services range from simple haircuts for both men and women, to color and styling including perms. We are also pleased to offer waxing, lash extensions, manicure and pedicure service. Spray tans are also now available. We look forward to meeting your needs.

I’m not quite convinced Sandy sanitizes her tools efficiently. The roundbrush she used on my hair smelled like very strong old body odor when the hot hair dryer hit it . I’ve been getting my hair done for 30 years and I’ve never smelled anything like it!!! I never saw tools soaking in barbicide, just a gentle wipe down with a towel and that’s all .
