I had a wonderful experience here. My stylist, Kaleigh, was amazing. She definitely listened to my needs. I wanted a cut after 2 years of not getting one just to get a healthier start in continuing to grow my hair out. I was worried about the potential of someone cutting too much of the length off, but she didn’t take any more than was needed. My hair is now still long but feels way healthier. She put some layers in at the ends as well and it really helped my curls to bounce back. I absolutely recommend going to see her!

Cost cutters is a good place to go get a haircut! I went there and I got the haircut that I wanted! I showed the lady who’s doing my hair a picture of only like the front/side view what I wanted done and she take us very well job without having like a back picture what the haircut looked like in the back she still didn’t want it. Reason why I’m giving it five stars is because it’s a wonderful place, the people there are so nice, I definitely recommend you going there for your haircut.

I got a GREAT cut from them several years ago… I was in a hurry and needed another one so I chose to give them another shot. It was a mistake. The stylist was nice and all, but she was young and really didn’t understand what I wanted. I ended up with hair that barely reaches my shoulders when it used to go to my butt. However, I went back to bangs and she did an excellent job on them.

Critical: ProfessionalismThe manager Danielle colored and cut my hair. After she cut it, she dried it and styled it (which I did not ask for) she put some curls in it and it looked ok. I got home and straightened my hair to find the worst haircut Ive ever had. It was a simple bob to be angled shorter in the back. I have layers everwhere! I have have 3in longer than places right next to it. Its so bad I have to go somewhere else to try and fix it. Instead of my hair being cut to my collarbone, it will now be up to my chin…that wont even fix all the layers! I went here about a month ago to get my daughter’s first hair cut. My daughter is 3 and has autism and I really wanted to get her hair cut before school started but I was scared of how she would react. Same day appointments, really awesome hair stylist. She was so calming and relaxed talking to my very over stimulated 3 year old which helped my daughter be comfortable and she got the cutest cut ever thank you so much!!

Great place for guys or girls to get a hair cut at a good price. Guys, these girls wash your hair and cut it with style. There is nothing worse then paying 15 dollars for a crew cut. Ya know that buzzed head..not here, tell them how you like it and you should not be disappointed. This is were I get my hair cut if I’m not just crew cutting, and my girl loved the perm they did for her. Personally I always ask Danielle to cut my hair, but I have had the other girls do it before, but just my personal preference I always try to get Danielle.

I’ve had problems at both Cost Cutters in Auburn and Cortland. Cutting your hair too short, looking like a calico cat or worse, a skunk. Then they really hacked and colored? My grown daughters hair. Danielle did an awful job. Had to have it fixed at Walmart salon. Then have my money refunded to me on my credit card. The end result was not anything like the picture. Danielle just argued about it. Sad. Been going there for years, for myself, kids and grandkids for years, I’m done. Too costly, too many mistakes! A Cut Above in Auburn and Color Me Red in Cortland are your best options.

I would actually give this a minus star. The girl that did my hair was very inexperienced and she chalked it. It’ll grow back. She colored it oh, and I told her it was going to be. too red, and she kept saying a well it won’t look like that when it’s dry. It looked as red as red could be. I made her do it over. The cut however you couldn’t fix. I would never go there again.
